The Ninja Warriors is one of those titles lost in video game history that is a pretty cool game. Ninja Warriors may seem like your everyday side scrolling fighting game, but it has much more to offer than you think.
Basically, you have 3 ninjas to choose from. Each with their own unique playstyles. You must travel through 8 stages to reach the end of the game.
Graphics: The visuals are gorgeous. The characters are very detailed, and the stage designs are pretty sweet.
Sound: To be honest, the music isn't much to write home about. I didn't notice any outstanding music, but the sound effects were great though.
Addictiveness: It's quite addicting. The characters have a lot of differences between each other, so you'll probably want to master all 3 of them.
Story: The story is quite simple. Without spoiling, You are playing as android ninjas designed to destroy the head of an evil organization.
Depth: The game can be completed within an hour or 2, so it's not very long. You just make your way through each stage.
Difficulty: The game has 2 modes. Normal and Hard. The game is decently challenging on Normal mode, but on Hard mode, the enemies are more aggressive, and I believe they have more health.
Characters: I'll explain a little bit about the characters.
Kunoichi: She's the balanced character of the game. Good for beginners. She's basically good at everything. She can grab enemies and throw them, but she cannot move while holding them . My personal favorite.
Ninja : A tad slow, but I'd be willing to say this guy is the most unique of the 3. His hitbox is insane, and can remain untouched if played correctly. He can grab enemies and objects, as well as move around while holding them.
Kamaitachi: The fastest of the 3. His attacks come out fast, but they are also weak. He cannot grab enemies, However, he can throw enemies by inputting a command. He's hard to play as, due to his low damage, and not being able to throw enemies easily.
Overall: This game is really fun, and offers a lot more than the usual side scrolling fighting games. The only true con of the game is lack of a 2-Player mode. I recommend it for everyone.
