i dont want to spoil your story but its ipossible to breed shiny pokemon with a shiny parent and a non shiny parent.. even if you got 2 shiny parents the chance would still be 1 out of 1000

I remember not knowing it was shiny before my cousin walked in, and he freaked out saying, "Oh my GOSH!! You found a shiny!" I was like, "What's a shiny?" He explained to me what it was, and then he watched while I caught it with a few Ultra balls.

In pearl I had found my first shiny. It was a bidoof The same day I had found a shiny krikitune.... not exactly worthwhile pokemon, but I at least had bragging rights in front of my friends, who had that all pokemon shiny cheat on the action replay.

I will never, EVER forget this. My first shiny pokemon was a blue Psyduck from Pokemon FireRed. At first I thought the game was glitching, but I caught it anyways and made it the 3rd best pokemon on my team. It evolved into a turquoise Golduck with pink beak and fins. Man, I love him :')

My first was a Magikarp... I hate Magikarp. I ended up trading it for a red Garydose, because somebody wanted to be the first ever to hold 6 shiny Magikarps at once. I happily obliged. He even payed me 100. He has the record on a few Pokémon forums and some other sites, as far as I know.

Beastmode64 : The only difference in a shinny Pokémon and a non shinny Pokémon is just the shinny Pokémon will be a different color than how it would normally look and you encounter shinnys by random chance. But my  first shinny was a manky I had 1 poke ball left and luckily got it.
