When I was 5, I loved garfield.An adorable orange cat who lives with his owner Jon arbuckle and a beagle named odie.The comic has been running since 1970 and has been a hit with everybody.So of course Garfield got a few video games,and heres one of them,this here game is called Garfield the search for pooky for the GBA.

Story-7/10
One night our favorite feline is going to bed,then OH NOES! out of nowhere 3 mice sneak into his house and take his one prized possession!,pooky!,Garfield's stuffed bear.Then Garfield wakes up the next morning to find out pooky is not with him! Now Garfield must travel everywhere to find pooky!

Gameplay-7/10
Search for pooky plays like your average platformer,You can jump,attack,and duck.Each level has you doing certain tasks,so don't think this a "Get to the end of the level like normal" game.The first two levels have you bringing mice and taking them to the cage and digging holes so you can get to the next section section.While the next two levels are just ordinary stages.Each level has over four-hundred pieces of food to collect,now there are no special extra guys anywhere in the game,but collecting one-hundred pieces of food will give you an extra guy.Well that's all I can say about the gameplay.

Graphics-9/10
WOW! The graphics are impressive! Even for a small screen,the places and such have a bunch of detail into them.But Garfield's sprite has got to be the best high-res sprite has got to be the best I've seen in years! And this game was only released in 2005! Yet the framerate is still choppy at times.

Sound-9/10
From Jon's house to grassy gardens,games like this never fail to please me.My two favorite tracks from are the first two levels,and the sfx are pretty spot-on too.

Difficulty-6/10
Ok I'll admit it,the game is kinda difficult at some points.But it was until now that I discovered there is a way to kill the butterflies in level 2,you have to swat them.I also had a bit of trouble on the driving level but the game is easy for the most part,in fact there is a easy and hard difficulty,but the only difference is that easy mode starts you off with nine extra guys,while hard difficulty starts you off with with six extra guys.

Overall-7.7/10
This is the first Garfield game I've played,and it's OK Actually! The graphics are spot on,everything.Sorry for the short review though,I was in a hurry.(Seriously 11:00 PM!)Anyways Bye!
