thing1 : Everyone technically is told about it. It isn't put in the first post but that is just because it would be a pain to explain VCS every month. That is why he always includes in the thread "If you don't know the rules/how to do it, check out the VCS subforum in this forum". So everyone should look at that when they start doing VCS instead of asking others how it is done because rules like that slip through the cracks when people explain it. 

This rule of deducting points for spamming is pretty new to me. Is this the first month it has been implemented?

Getting DQ'd for posting tok many times in the same thread is just ridiculous. There are thousands of other threads for you to post in. No need to spam in just one of them.

Thing1 got DQ'd...and has -9 points...BAHAHAHAH. Sorry, I find that laughable. This could turn very entertaining.

I got DQ'ed for posting in this thread 6 times yesterday, and did not even realize it. >.< I was just responding to notifications. And seeing as how this will be the third, this will be my last for the day... (I think it is the third). And it is not spamming (at least not intentional) if you are keeping it relevant to the topic on hand, at least in my opinion.

Is it possible for me to like, NOT be included in any of the rankings in the VCS? I don't like the idea of it.

thing1 : It's not spam in the sense of going off topic. It's the fact that there are thousands of threads on Vizzed to post in, and you posted in the same one over and over purely for postcount+1.

Anyway, getting a DQ pretty much screws you in the competition....

I think it makes spamming the evil it really is. If you spam, you lose points, which lowers your chance of winning.

More spam is worse than less spam, so the higher your rank when you get DQ'd, the more you lose.

Wow, looks like this VCS will be a little tougher this time around. I can't believe the user loses points for spamming, kind of mean but sensible.

It looks like I may have placed today.  It should be interesting how events from today pan out.

Recheck the update. I forgot to factor in the double points at first.

He was DQ'd because 3 mods brought to my attention his spam today. It had nothing to do with his hate joke posts.

legacyme3 : Double points? i was wondering why he had -20 on the day... and why the double points? is that like a thing you are going to start doing? double points at random every 5 days or something of the sorts?

thing1 : Whenever the board gets over 1000 posts total in one day, double points.

And hey, I'm still winning. Getting 1st on a double points day is always a good thing. Just gotta be consistent.
