Over view-
Dragon ball z:legend of the super saiyans is the most well known of the classic DBZ RPG series that was only released in japan which is a shame cause america had alot of dbz fans and the games where actually decent but i digress

Graphics- 9/10
For the time these where fantastic the animation for battles where great and made every hit looked like it hurt which is something not even modern RPG's seem to get right however the over world graphics but considereding this came out in 92 their still pretty damn good

Sound- 6/10
The music isn't bad...err...the battle theme is nice but repetitive since you battle...a lot
and sometimes it doesn't fit for example the final battle theme seems really cheery and upbeat
and the over world themes are forgettable

Addictiveness- 6/10
uhhh how can i put it? its very difficult but when you figure it out you feel addicted to the game a little more...know what i mean?

Story- 7/10
The game takes place at the beginning of the saiyan saga and ends at the final battle against frieza while the saiyan saga was somewhat short the frieza saga fills much longer
it follows it good enough i suppose

Depth- 5/10
Its not a very long RPG that feels long with its somewhat poor design and punishing difficulty
i think it can be beat in around 4 hours pretty short for RPG terms

Gameplay- 7/10
Over world navigation is pretty basic walk to next area except now you can fly
The battle system is also meh but its the best part of the game you get randomized cards that has a certain attack and defensive level which is 1-7(Z)characters will have a "best" card which is used to attack all enemies sometimes you will get a ki card which allows you to use a ki blast the only good feature is the flashing animations really add to the epicness
also i find it weird you have one stat...BP...which is like attack/Defense and speed

Difficulty- 9/10
in the game theirs a lot of stuff you need to get that is never told about for example
The gohan card is required to beat raditz but is hidden in a normal looking house
The yarijobe card is required to beat ape frieza and is...hidden in a normal house
also two namekians will attack you and if you kill them its instant game over...and you have to talk to them at one point e.e
however for every hard boss theirs usually one way to easily beat them...i just never found those

All-in-all- 7.3/10
Its a fun game hidden behind all its flaws it does reqire some patients to enjot but when you do its a really enjoyable game i recamend it to DBZ fans and to hardcore RPG fans and if you're both like me you'll love it(Attack of the saiyans on DS is still the best DBZ RPG though)

Sounds like a good game. Unfortunately, I don't like to play games that have foreign languages, because I don't understand one word of what's going on.
