The only problem i currently have with FFVIII is that my graphics card over shoots what the game needs. This results in choppy movies that freeze up on occasion. I'm going to download ff7 next.

John did you download it from a torrent? I found one a few days ago and downloaded FF8. The game was corrupt and it would always freeze in the same spot.

I dont think a graphics card can be too powerful for any one game.

yea, i got it off a torrent. I could send you the torrent file so you can downlad it. It took several attempts to install. But i got it. And yes it can....... cuz the color needs to be at 8 bpp and thats what i failed for the direct 3d. What else could it be? My graphics card is top of the line.

i'd believe it to. In FFVIII there is a cut scene almost every 30 minutes.... So damn annoying!!!! And some are just short and pointless and some are long and boring and others are cool... Like flying the Raganork into the Lunatic Pandora. That was cool!

If there was one thing that annoyed the hell out of me it was the mini-game in space. The one where you have to line yourself up in Rinoas path so you can catch her. Man that was so gay. I hated it because it took me like 10 goes and it was boring. Plus did any onenotice that the music at that time was the music of the first time they met. The music of the Ball. I picked it up straight away. "Hey, this is the music from the party ball thing"
