I have heard of so many glitches, tricks, and secrets for a disc on the gamecube called Sonic Adventure DX and there is so much you can't remember it all! Do you wanna talk about any glitches, tricks, secrets, other, or normal stuff in the game?

Here are the glitches:
Slide through more than 90 degree angle (obtuse angle) walls
32,767 rings = Game freeze (Class 7 bug) Probably gamecube only
Knuckles, tails, and Amy in Emerald Coast
Knuckles, tails, and E102 (possibly) in twinkle park
Game crash in twinkle park with knuckles (jumping onto bumper cart)
Infinite animal use with tails only (all systems)

TOO MUCH TO EXPLAIN!

The tricks here are:
Infinte rings with electric sheild for knuckles and tails only (Station Square)
Shortcuts (ANY SHORTCUT THAT HELPS BREAK WORLD RECORDS ONLY)
Infinite rings for sonic in twinkle park (part 3, line of rings)
Infinite rings easiest way with E102 in Station Square (200 rings a minute)

TOO MUCH TO PUT AND EXPLAIN!

Not a ask anything, not a game on RGR (the game is a disc), this is a thread to discuss about the following game, SONIC ADVENTURE DX. This is to discuss, not just throw all the stuff you wanna discuss, take it easy and talk about the things said here, or others.

Good idea on a thread. I haven't played much of this game, but I was thinking about starting to play it now since I got my hands on a physical copy. I will look forward to reading more tips and tricks to help me finish the game!

Jordanv78 : Check out some walkthroughs on YouTube, that should help you beat the game 100%. I had the game since March 2009 along with 2 other games and finished it in early of 2011 since I figured how to destroy the egg walker (the last boss for tails the fox).

Now to start talking, here is what I will talk about:

Chao Reincarnation and Death
32,767 rings = game crash (Class 7 Bug)

For chao rebirth, when the chao (refer to the chao garden websites for info.) reaches the end of its lifespan, the chao will either go into:
A pink caccoon if you treated it very well
A gray caccoon if you treated it bad

When the caccoon is pink, a egg will come out, but it contains:
Its old name
It's old memories
10% of its stats

Remember that for example if a chao has 368 swim points, at rebirth, it will have 36 swim points. How come? Well, no matter what, the ones digit always rounds down at rebirth so it inherits 10% of whatever stats it contained before rebirth.

When the caccoon is gray, nothing comes out, and you chao is now dead and can't be seen again ever.


The 32,767 rings game crash is caused by something called, "Class 7 Bug", and by hitting 32,767 rings, the next ring you hold crashes the game by creating a number called "-32,768" and triggers class 7 bug. The infinte rings trick is easy with e102, just get to the switch in the hotel of station square that leads to either casinopolis or emerald coast, get up the stairs, stand on the last stair and use free camera to line it behind you and use it to line your head between the 2 switches, keep hitting B, and you can grab rings to your hearts content. Don't get 32767 rings, or it'll crash, try to stop at more than 2000, go through a level in station square without:
Getting hit
Falling into a death plane
Crash the game with the rings (from getting 32768 rings).
Or others.
