pacman1755 : I understand that some things are not for everyone, when i was younger i did some ice fishing in Mich. and i really didn't get into it. These last couple of years i have really gotten into fishing just because it is fun to trick them with bait and then reeling in the fish while they are putting up a fight haha.

I've only ever fished, but my worst time with that was probably when we fished for like, 8 hours straight with my family and I didn't even get so much as a nibble while everyone else in my family got several bites.



Most boring day of my life. I never liked fishing in the first place. I have patience but not enough to just sit there waiting for something that may or may not bite.

I lived in Alaska for six years, and although I never did hunt there, there are of course TONS of people who do.  My parents are the variety that want to shoot photos, not bullets.  hehe.

Of course, living in Alaska we fished and camped all the time!  The mosquitoes there are joked to be the state bird because of their size, so that was always uncomfortable.  I remember having worse experiences with flies early in the morning, however.

As for fishing, I lost a few poles because I chose not to get dragged into the river (unlike my twin!), and so my dad would get angry with me.  But what does he expect when I was trying to real in fish as big as I was?!  LOL

I do miss king salmon fishing though.  It's a WONDERFUL experience!

I used to like fishing but ever since my grandfather died i haven't liked it the same as much as i did since when i was 6 i would always go fishing with him and i found it really fun. But he's not here anymore so i don't enjoy it as much
