The Herobrine case was taken cared of long time ago... for the most part, he isn't real. He was made up as some live stream video and form of a creepypasta which gained popularity. Sure, the updates may have stated of "his" removal, but that was just a joke to keep the thrills going.

Although... there's this certain mod where you can summon him using certain blocks and following certain steps, but I dunno where that can be found.
