I have been trying out several retro Pokemon games on this site(Crystal is currently booted up). My browser is FireFox 4.0 and I have Windows 7. My plugin has been installed. Nevertheless, whenever I press F2 to save my progress, I get the message "Saved State Upload Failed!". Even if I repeatedly save, it will not produce a similar message. When I press F4 to load, it redirects me to another player's save from a different account.
Could someone please explain how to get the save system to work? Thank you very much if you can.

Generally when you save or load while not logged into the site it will save on a public (or shared file). You're sure that you were logged in while trying to save and load?

Also, the message Saved State Upload Failed is sorta a glitch that needs to be worked out, but for the majority of the time it still saves even though you get that message. Normally, the best way to be sure that it is saving is to check this page after you attempt to save, and see if the file is there:
https://www.vizzed.com/boards/savefiles.php
although the page seems to be not working currently, so that could be part of it.

What TriUne just explained should do the trick. If it doesn't, I have one idea. Try saving the game with its own save feature. That's what I always do, and it works fine on any game. By its own, I mean as if you were actually playing it on the actual console (gameboy, SNES, Nintendo, etc.). Just go to its menu (make sure you know the key set to open it) and go to the save option.
