I have seen this problem before. If it is a popup, try clicking Okay or closing the popup. Then click on the games screen, and it might just start up normally. It works for me with this particular game, but some have reported that solution not working for them. So just give it a try first. And for the future, I'll let you know how to put threads where they should be. On the boards main page, find a category that fits your thread. For this thread, for example, you can find the Retro Game Room forum. Under that tab, there are sub-categories. One of them is 'Help'. That is where you want to put your thread. Simply click that link, and on the page that has a lists of the threads in that group, click the new thread tab. Anytime you click the new thread tab, it will put that thread in the forum that you are currently viewing. Hope I made that make sense. Summon me here if the problem doesn't work, and I'll look into it a little more. If I can't get you a solution, we can get the rest of the RGR staff to look at your problem.

Welcome aboard bud. Got some news about the 1M message though...

The bad news is that because of the 1M-Circuit Board issue going around,
you can't save in-game which also means you can't go past the Elite
Four. The good news is that a future update on the RGR plug-in should
cover that issue, but the question is of when it'll happen. The only
thing you can do from here out with FireRed / LeafGreen is use the save
states to save your progress in a careful manner (F2 to save, F4 to
load). Although there's plenty of other games for you to try, just
saying...

Oh, and to get pass the 1M message, just hit Z on your keyboard (or
check the controls by double clicking the game to know what to hit).

I think Zythic M-3 gave a good update on your problem. I will go ahead and close this thread. If you wish for it to be opened again because you want more information on the circuit board issue, PM me to reopen it.
