Overall - 8.5

I am so surprised that this game would be on the Game Boy Advance console.  I have this game on the PS2 and it is a whole lot of fun.  On this game, it is completely different.  When I tried this game out, it was pretty much like the one on the PS2.  This game really is better than the one on the Nintendo 64.  I really liked playing this game, especially when I was a kid.  I remember playing it all the time constantly.  It was one of my favorite games on the PS2.

Graphics - 8

The graphics in this game are not as perfect, but they are still okay.  It kind of plays as the ones on the NES.  The effects are somewhat better now than from the NES.

Sound - 8

The sound is somewhat related to the one just like the PS2 console.  It has nice effects when you pick up items and attack enemies.

Addictiveness - 8

I would play this some of the time, but I would rather play it on the PS2 because it is a lot better than the one on Game Boy Advance.  Still, this game is something that people should play if they do not have it on the PS2.

Story - 7

I am not sure if there is a story in this game, but what I think is that you are suppose to stop the demons again, kind of like the same as the Nintendo 64, but a little different.

Depth - 9

The game has a lot of features.  For instance, you can choose one of the four heroes and you can pick any of the four colors.  Another thing is that this one you can move around and choose which level you want to play (obviously.A big difference than the NES console).  I do not know if you can unlock characters in this game, but you can on the PS2 (about 8 or 9 characters that you can unlock).

Difficulty - 3

The game is not that hard.  I have played this game for so long and I am used to who I am fighting.  There are magic and special attacks in this game that can help you out, so there is no need for it to be hard.  Some of the time the bosses may be hard to beat if you do not have a lot of experience.  Other than that, the weak enemies are easy to beat.

Wrap Things Up...

Gauntlet - Dark Legacy is one of the best games in the Gauntlet series (Yes, I do know that there is a newer game of Gauntlet on the PS2 that came out after this one, but this one is still better than Gauntlet - Seven Sorrows).  I recommend trying this game out.  If you want to try it out on the PS2, be my guest.  The PS2 game is better than this one, but if you don't feel like buying the PS2 one, then go ahead and play this one.  It is a whole lot of fun and it would never end.

EXTRA:  I wish they would have made a new game of Gauntlet on the Wii or something.  I would be so crazy about it if they make a new game of this.

I also was surprised when I heard it was on the GBA.

I like the game, but thought it got a little... meh after a while. The game wasn't anything "special" but it was a worthwhile time waster.
