Hey wanna go man your sonic with my ike sometime? We could turn on all ball related items!

I don't know, that might be to many balls for Sonic and Ike to man with. Pikachu on the other hand likes balls, he especially likes cuddling up inside them. So maybe your Ike can man with my Pikachu and his balls?

Oh but in that case my Ike needs some company. Mind if i bring Link and his big hard sword? Other wise we could go with marth, his is a little smaller and more "cute".

Sounds good to me, bring them both because 4 is exactly how many it takes to have a good time. MVash likes to man with Marth and his small sword, I like to man with Pikachu and his balls, you can man with Ike and than we need to find someone to man with Link and his big sword. Or we could have Pokemon Trainer instead of Link, Pokemon Trainer has 3 balls and is capable of using them all! Either way, that would be a pretty busy brawl.

You can get the game for about $30 new off ebay. Probably even cheaper used.

But yeah, I'm also at a point where my budget is only comfortable with renting games unless it's a game I really want to own and plan on playing often, such as Halo 3 and Super Smash Bros Brawl (both of which I own).

Yeah, this is a game where you could be playing it atleast once month or even once a week for the next year or so. Great replay value and playing it online makes it even better.

Yeah...I've played brawl a few times - my cousin has it. Am I the only one that finds Tabuu (Subspace Emissary final boss) REALLY FREAKING HARD? Does anyone know how to evade that huge shockwave attack that he does when he goes back into the background? It's almost like an auto-kill and so dang cheap.

I'm good with characters that have swords. I don't know why...

And I sometimes find Sonic difficult to control. I've had him roll straight off the screen on me a couple of times when I wasn't paying attention to how long I was holding the button.

Brawl is awesome - especially when you're in a 4-man Free-for-all and there's a Final Smash sphere hanging in the air on a stage that MOVES. That's when it gets really good.

Hold R and press down to do an sidestep which makes you completely invulnerable.

Assuming you're using an GC controller.

Hey, does that wired controller come with the wii? The one that looks like a white, flat version of a Gamecube controller? Or do I have to buy it separate?(does it work with brawl?)

Classic controller is a separate but aside from the Wii, And it needs to be plugged into a Wiimote. Also Brawl can use: remote+nunchuck, remote only, classic controller, and Gamecube controller.

I would recommend using a GC controller or Classic controller, remote+nunchuck works, just don't use remote only. Just don't.

well of course, more people use wiimote+nunchuck than the clasic controller. But at least it costs less to purchase.
