I'd probably be able to survive for a while... but I dunno about escaping. Escaping the area assumes I can figure the way out... and I'm not the best with navigation. At best, I can gather food and build a shelter to stay alive until someone finds me and rescues me.

I would probably survived for about a week, since I know how to do a lot of things. I watch a lot of survival show that is really helpful. Escaping is not a option for me, because I am bad at navigating a unknown area.  

I posted in this thread once before, but I actually had a somewhat change of opinion.


Now, if I was in a desert, I'd probably be completely screwed. It would really depend on the terrain I was in. Probably I would be doomed if it was a snow biome too.

However, in a jungle or a forest, depending how big the area was in, I very much believe I may actually be able to escape this.

I realize that bugs and snakes and stuff are not the only thing you need to eat. There's of course, water. You can not eat and live off of water for quite a long time. As well, there are also fish. I don't like eating fish but there are also bugs.

I may not be a very outside person guy, but I am good with my hands, I am a very hands on person. I am sure I could craft decent tools for hunting. However, hunting for actual meat and/or protein that is not fish would be a problem. There would need to be some sort of fruit in the trees because again, I would not be able to eat a bug, or a snake, or anything like that.

I believe an Island I would be able to survive the longest on, however, there is no way I would be able to craft a raft on my own or something of the such that would be able to actually escape from. For one, I have hydrophobia. And so, because I have hydrophobia, I suck at swimming. I would rather die of starvation than die of drowning. Rescue would need to come to me because no way would I be attempting to get off that island without a life jacket somehow handy.


So, Forest, Jungle and Island... I may be able to survive on. At least for a while assuming I could get out at least within a week's time. Anything else I am more than sure I would be dead within 48 hours. I simply would not be able to eat or drink (and to top it off, my survival knowledge in any of those areas are kind of pitiful).

I think so but than i think i can't. I know what to eat in all, but i be thinking about the jaguars and stuff.

Have any of you ever read survival manuals? If so, how helpful do you think they are?  I read one this summer, greatly enjoyed it but am uncertain.

For me no , I wont have enough skills to escape if i am trapped inside a deep jungle . I wish I had enough skills but I guess I don't have em '

I don't think so, I have little idea about survival, I believe I could survive for a little bit on my own, but I'm mostly probably wrong.
