King Kong on the Atari 2600 is a good game to play.  It is kind of just like Donkey Kong on the NES.  People say that it is a rip off of Donkey Kong...grow up.  At least the game is not exactly like Donkey Kong, it is just a little different.  King Kong was famous back then and might be right now.

Graphics - 8

The graphics are good, except for King Kong, he looks like Chewbacca from Star Wars.  Very bad graphics for King Kong, but the rest is okay.

Sound - 8

The sound is okay.  The game play is a bit weird, but it still has sound, better than hearing nothing in the whole game.  What I like is the sound of going up the ladder, it is so cartoonish.

Addictiveness - 7

I would play this game a few times because it is a lot easier than Donkey Kong on the NES.  It is not that bad of a game for the Atari.

Story - N/A

There is no story in this game.  All you do is try to get to the top and save a person in every level.

Depth - 5

The game does not have a lot of features.  All you can do is jump over objects that are coming in your way.  It just gets harder when you beat a level.

Difficulty - 4

The game is not that hard.  It is in fact easier to jump over than the Donkey Kong game.  What is confusing is some of the objects can go down the pit hole or not, kind of like the barrels in Donkey Kong, they go down randomly instead of going down the ladder.

King Kong on the Atari 2600 is not that bad of a game and is not a rip off of Donkey Kong, it is different.  I recommend trying this game out, it is fun if you like playing arcade games.
