The game Forza Motorsport 3 is tremendous in size.  The game comes packed with two discs: the first disc is the "play disc" and the second disc is known as the "installation disc" which contains 1.9 gigabytes of files which should be installed to your Xbox 360 hard drive upon purchasing the game.  The installation disc contains a lot of extra material, including cars and tracks.  The car list for Forza Motorsport 3 actually contains over 400 unique cars, with some new ones that have been added since via downloadable content.  There are cars from manufacturers around the world including Ford, Lamborghini, Lotus, Koenigsegg, Porsche, Aston Martin, and more.  I especially like the car list in this game because it doesn't just contain low-rank cars and super cars (which it seems are all that are in racing games anymore), it also contains cars that are in the "middle" of the performance spectrum.  A couple of these examples are the 1993 Ford Mustang Cobra (my personal favorite) and the 1990 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z.  These are cars that most people can actually relate to owning and driving (unless you're rich, then you can relate to the rest anyway), so it makes the game that much more fun to be able to tune these cars exactly as you like.  You can even make these mid-performance cars as fast as the super cars in the game via "engine swap" in the performance menu.
Forza Motorsport 3 offers many "assists" in the races, which makes the game fun for gamers of all skill levels.  The new assist in this game is the rewind feature, which lets you rewind the race a bit if you make an error such as spin out into the grass/dirt or hit a will.  There is no limit to how many times this can be used in a race, but there is a 30 second wait time between uses of it.  Another assist in this game is the "suggested line" which is basically a line that shows the player where to drive in order to get the best response from the vehicle through turns and even on straight roads.  The line is green when the player should continue to hit the gas, yellow when the player should slow down, and red when the player should hit the brakes to slow down.  There is also an "anti-lock brakes" assist that makes it so that the player's brakes on their vehicle never completely lock up.  This makes the game fun without having too high a level of difficulty, because it is surprising just how easy a vehicle's brakes are to lock up in a game.
The career mode in this game is superior to that of the previous Forza Motorsport games.  In the previous ones, you would simply choose any random series of events then race them, and that can get boring at times.  In Forza Motorsport 3, you compete in world championships of different vehicle performance levels over a period of several weeks (there are always a series of events between championship races to compete in).  After every championship race the player may choose to compete in one of three events next: one that lets the player use the same vehicle they just raced, one to see new tracks, and one to try out a new car the player has earned (every time the player advances a driver level a new car is unlocked and given to the player, so it doesn't take long for the player's car collection to get huge).  There are achievements for going through career mode: six achievements for 50G each for completing each of the six years of season play.

Graphics: 9/10
The cars and environments look amazing in this game, and are arguably better than any other racing game.

Gameplay: 9/10
Very solid racing physics in the game: this is the first Forza Motorsport game in which you can roll your car if you wreck bad enough.  The controls are great and very responsive; each car drives differently so there are enough cars to keep you entertained for a good while.

Sound: 8/10
The sound in this game can get repetitive, although I have to respect the fact that every car actually sounds different and sound like the vehicle would in real life.  Sometimes though, just hearing the engines roaring for lap after lap can get repetitive.

Replayability: 9.5/10
There are enough gameplay modes and cars to keep you entertained for hours and hours (I love the new drag racing mode!).

Achievements: 9/10
Some of the achievements are fairly time consuming (get to driver level 50 and complete the sixth year of season play) but are not overly difficult.  The only online achievements have to do with bidding in the auction house and selling a car in the auction house, which is a good thing (I don't like games with more online achievements than offline, why not add more fun into the achievements for offline gaming?).

Overall: 9/10
A very solid and fun racing game that I would recommend to anyone with an Xbox 360.
