Alright here goes:

Graphics: I won't lie the graphics in the game was amazing. It really showed the potential of the Super Nintendo. If I didn't know any better I would have thought it was just a low class n64 game. So the graphics deserved a 9/10 some issues but very small to describe.

Sound: The sound was okay a bit choppy but maybe because of the emulator various musics and such which make it interesting so I say the sound gets a 7/10

Gameplay: I was a little surprised that this was an RPG game since Mario games usually consist of platformers an jumping on enemy but I guess they experimented with the game and made it an RPG instead but with basic commands like Attack, defend , Run and such. As Mario you rome around like a Pokemon game basically making your ways through the game so Gameplay gets a 7/10 (You can even have different party members)

Story:
The game begins with Mario entering Browsers Castle to rescue Princess Toadstool(again ). During the battle, a giant sword breaks through the Star Road and crashes into Bowser’s castle, sending Mario, Princess Toadstool, and Bowser flying in different directions, as well as scattering the seven star fragments. Mario makes his way to the Mushroom Kingdom, where the mushroom chancellor insists that Mario recover the princess and then discover the purpose of the giant sword. This story was unique from other Mario games so I give it an 8/10

Difficulty+Depth: In the game  the enemies start off easy but once you get to other levels new enemies appear and harder ones too. So it gets pretty hard. You have a lot of stuff to do to. You can power up your party members by earning items and stuff but overall there isn't anything besides the story which Is pretty long. Difficulty gets a 7/10 and depth gets a 6/10

OVERALL RATING: The overall rating I would give this game is probably a nice clean 7/10. It could have fixed a few issues like more things to do and maybe a better RPG battle format but otherwise it was a good game.

I remember the first time I played this. A friend of my brother's was spending the night and he brought it. I could not put it down. I couldn't remember the name of it and found it about a year later. Even though there are now a lot of RPG games like this where battle is started by touching enemies, but this was the first game with that format I had ever played. This really got me into that game play genre. I absolutely love the story of this game. It was the first time I ever got a good, in depth story from a Mario game. I think the only other Mario game I have played that has as well of a developed story is Paper Mario for the Wii. But it wasn't as interactive with the world around you. This stands as my favorite Mario.
