After briefly looking through some of this thread's replies, I feel like I've been quite sheltered. I'm pretty sure I saw my very first horror film between the age of 12 and 13, and that was Child's Play. I actually had to convince my mother to let me watch it with promises not to see any nightmares, etc.. I found it more humorous than scary, though, so I didn't have to go through any restless nights.

It's probably Halloween, i used to dislike it, but now i like it.

My very first horror movie was probably saw  it was really scary but it in the end I thought it was sick and I thought anyone who had ever watched saw if to young could be scared for the rest of their lives because they could think it would happen in real life my friends cousin knows because he watched saw when he was young and watched the movie over and over again and then became traumatized  so always remember don't watch scary movies if you are not up to it

I don't know about Scary movie being funny but My first one was chuckle. I watched it when I was about 6 or 7 and was always afraid that my toys where going to come alive and kill me. I was afraid to sleep in the dark thinking someone was in the closet or something. My brother thought it would be funny to find a clucky doll and scare me with it and that thing did the job. One night he put it with me in my bed. I woke up the next morning to clucky staring at me in the face. Horrible lol.

If I remember correctly, my first horror movie experience was when I was about four or five and I was with my mom at her friends house and the Texas Chainsaw Massacre was on and the whole time I watched it I laughed and thought it was funny XD

I swear to God after that I had about 2 weeks problems to fall asleep at night, always slept with light on and was scared of Clowns till age 16 hahahaha !
