I agree with JigSaw.

The only reason that people have arguments is because there's no law on what you can and can't do. People won't shut up because they feel overly opinionated and as if there's no law.

I am actually slightly annoyed and ticked off at my self, and a lil bit at another person. I went to this other board, and this person who I have goten to know on there, there friend got the wrong impression of me, and as to what I meant by like this thing I said, and now I don't really know what to do but hope for a fresh start... I hate how sometimes these bits of words on the interent can be percieved differntly or misunderstood.. with or without emotion..

I think it is so serious because people feel protected by the fact that no one can see them, Most people when chatting on computers are usually more aggressive or more emotionally active, i guess. Some people also get cheap thrills out of winding people up which just makes me feel sick.

An argument on the Internet is the same thing as an argument in real life. People try not to argue quite as much in real-life as not to run the risk of escalating to violence. On the Internet, you don't have to worry about violent escalation and your free to blow up verbally and be as rude and ignorant as you like.
