Why is there only three Spell pockets under the Red mage class in FF1 for the nes when Game faq show me 6 Spell pockets

I think you start off with limited spells, then when you reach a certain point in the game and undergo Bahamut's training you can change your class which enables more spell capacity.

so as you start off you have 3 spell pockets but as you get trainning from this "Bahamut's " and this works with the old nes ff1 no matter what window

well kind of i guess the real question is how do I get that 4th spell pocket.

Black mage the LV1 spells that i have are selp, fire, lock I can't get the spell LIT
white mage the LV1 spells That I have are Cure, ruse, fog I can't get the sell Harm

Both magic shops said that Level 1 is full. But how can Level one be full with out all four spells, How do I unlock the the four Spell pocket So I can complete all of level in both mage classess?

(on the next post could i have this move to the "Final Fantasy, Vizzed Board - Video Game Franchises" where it might get more hits thank you)

Actually, the spells at each level are working as intended.  You are to pick which 3 of the 4 spells at each spell level you think would be most useful for that magic user.  In addition, the red mage doesn't get as high a level of spells as the other 2 main spell casters do since he/she uses both types of magic instead of just 1 type though he/she weather as a red mage or a red wizard still gets higher levels of spells to pick from than the Knight and Ninja ever gets the option to in the game.
