Well I think its time to bring back thee' old Highwind Meter, For those who forgot it (which is probably all of you) Its where I rate a movie I saw recently and then you all can put your rating in or just critisize my rating, you give it a blank out of 10 Cig's.

Last Samurai:
I found this movie very entertaining and action packed, it had a well developed plot and Tom Cruise was excellent in it. The scene I liked most was when the main character took on 5 or 6 guys in town, it had a flash back fighting thing in there too which I never seen done, I believe this was a great action movie with also opens up knowledge about the Samurai and what they stood for and what they were all about. So thats why I give it...........

I have to second that rating personally. The movie was moving and well done. When it first came out I was skeptical, but after seeing it I loved it. Favorite scene was the final battle charge... at the time when I saw the movie I was in a state of emotional numbness, didn't care about anything and could not cry... that scene had me bawling tears and brought me back. Love this movie!

Excellent movie...i'd give it a 9/10 just cause I never rate things perfect I sorta cried at the end and I never cry, when the emporer was like tell me how he died, and dude was like, i'll tell you how he lived, with that damn song playing in the background that sounds sad but happy at the same time....

I seen it. I was at the drive in with friends, and it started to rain. So we put pizza boxes on our heads and laps, it sorta added to the movie. I luved it though. But The Passions Of The Christ is 87.53 times better, so i give the last samuri a 7/10, and i give The Passions Of The Christ a 612.71 / 10 ( I love my TI-83+ )

Passion of the christ/the blaming of the jew meh. The last samurai was done very well, when I saw the previews I was like WTF TOM CRUISE CANNOT BE A SAMURAI. Then I actually took the time to watch it. It gives you a huge sense of respect for the real people that dedicated their lives to one thing during those times.
