I usually just keep it bottled up within myself. At some point, it comes out, usually in dramatic fashion. I have read lots about ways of dealing with stress but I can never seem to remember them when it comes time to being stressed. I find it very frustrating.

Make the time to just sit there, and doing something relaxing, such as listening to music or something.

I listen to music. It always seems to work for me. Or I will call one of my friends and talk to them to see if they can help. If I get REALLY stressed, though, I usually wind up crying. =| Not very much fun, but it DOES release a lot of my frustrations and I feel loads calmer in the end.

Depends on the situation, if it's too much, I'll just lift weights or play a video game.

If it's little stress, I'll go surf at the beach, or skateboard if there aren't any waves.

Well, what do I do when I'm stressed? I go on the computer, get on Vizzed, and relax among the community and simply post for fun. All stuff like that. Oh, I also play games of any kind to reduce my stress too.

However, if my stresses comes from my own computer? I'll probably just watch TV for a moment to chill down, or take a walk, or find something to eat in the kitchen.

I deal with stress by putting in any video game where I can hack, slash, bash, and/or shoot and just go crazy on the enemies in said game. It's better than beating the crap out of the person or persons who caused the stress, right? Honestly, if you think playing video games to relieve stress makes me seem like a total wuss. You're wrong!

I suffer from a severe anxiety disorder, and some of my methods of handling stress might not work for you. I do hope you find some sort of peace soon, though. Stress is like a flea that won't go away sometimes.

I'm pretty much stressed all the time, so I am always trying to escape from it in some way. Horror video games like Silent Hill 2 calm me down a bit despite making me slightly nervous. Silent Hill games give me a hell to be in that isn't the hell that is my own anxiety. Putting on old horror movies is also a great calming tool for me. The most effective one for me is Night of the Living Dead. Horror is almost my self-therapy. The horrifying images it has aren't nightmares to me, but rather remainders that I can overcome the monster I fight daily known as anxiety.

I doubt playing or watching anything horror related would be helpful to you, though. If it seems helpful to you, by all means see if it works. Heck, I will even recommend good survival horror games to you that suit what you feel will make you feel like you can survive your own demons.

Another method I use is creative writing. I might not always write anything down, but I always have been into creating my own stories, characters, creatures. You name it. I normally make horror stories and songs involving horror. I like turning my anxiety into nightmares. I also like to write poems.

Fallout 3 and Fallout 2 are extremely calming games. Playing a game about a nuclear wasteland is comforting to me because I feel like I'm in control of the world.  I find a few FPS titles to be calming, but not many. Bioshock 2 is very calming. The first one is a bit more stressful to me, but this one is soothing. Old 90's FPS games are very calming, as well. Mainly Wolfenstein 3D, though.

Listening to black metal is extremely calming to me. I also found out about this musician called David Scott recently. He makes Silent Hill sounding music, and the music in Silent Hill games are very calming to me. This guy's music is depressive, so if you don't do well with that kind of music, I wouldn't recommend it. If you want to try it out, though, here's a link to one of his songs.
Seven Years (Without You) by David Scott

I'll gladly be a punching bag for you to rant to if you just need someone to listen. I may not have much to tell you, but I am willing to listen for your own sake.

If I have stress, I just clear my mind, take a nap, or do something else, maybe play a first person shooter to relieve my stress, it is a proven fact that it will work.

Personally (no guarantee these will work for you, lol), when I am stressed, I like tospend time with my friends- without discussing any stress/drama that's going on in my life, so I can just enjoy their company without being distracted by whatever is bothering me.

A lot of the time, having a nap or a full night's sleep (depending on what I have time for) really helps. Sometimes things don't seem so bad when you're rested and it is a new day. Other things I do are draw/sketch while listening to music, watch my favorite movies (watching movies I am familiar with is strangely comforting sometimes), or cook myself a nice dinner.

I don't handle it very well.  If I can be alone, I do that...   Like in my room with the door shut and TV up loud.  If I have to be around people I drink alcohol to deal with it.  Don't do what I do.  Find another way.

I usually workout or hangout with friends or skateboard or play a video game. There is always something in the world you can do other than worry about stuff.

When I'm under stress I either watch anime, listen to music, or talk to somebody about whats stressing me out. Watching anime is the most stress relieving for me out of the three, because it pulls me out of my world and into another.

I think my way of dealing it is fairly creative. I bottle it up and deal with it later. There's more to it than that, but I don't really feel like explaining the whole process.
