Annette : Milk seems unusual. But I enjoy orange juice because the sweet/sugary OJ matches nicely with the salty tomato/oregano. To each their own.

I prefer beer matchings to pizza. It depends on what types of sauce you use and whether you have meat or just veggie pizza toppings.

1. Pizza sauce + meat = A nice Sam Adams Boston Lager.

2. Pesto sauce + veggies = A hoppy IPA of any brand.

3. BBQ sauce + Chicken = A smooth mexican beer like Dos Equis or Modelo.

warmaker : I know it's pretty strange, I wouldn't have normally tried it but when I was little we would sit at the table to eat pizza as a family, and the standard drink at dinner time was milk. Somewhere along the line I tried dipping my crust in the milk to make it softer and it turned out to be pretty good.
