   Tough call. I feel like the older games get a little less love. I guess that's fair though seeing as from Final Fantasy 7 on we have improved graphics and cut scenes but anyway...

I always find it interesting that folks still want to know who has more appeal.
Characters in Games are designed to be attractive.
Male or Female.
Very few are going to be made to look ugly. If any at all.
It is always funny to see a top ten list of who's hot in the games.
They are all Attractive.

To answer the question, it normally falls into witch generation of final fantasy games were out when you graduated high school. I graduated in 1998. Naturally I am fond of Characters from Final Fantasy 6,7, and 8.

Of all the characters I have been confused by one and one alone.
She trained her entire youth in martial arts and Piano. Then becomes a tour guide of sorts. Once the town she gave tours through burns to the ground she decides to take up Bartending?
She is the only character I have encountered without a defined profession.
Her Music and Martial arts background suggest polar opposites and practically zero spare time.
What was her profession supposed to be when she was growing up?
It makes no sense.

But she does look great.
Mark my vote for Tifa from Final Fantasy 7.
