I am creating a game in Java!
It's going to be called: BattleBox!

It will be my first game written in Java, and using java2d.
It is definitely not done yet, but I have a basic tilemap and players set up and ready.
It even has a fancy splash screen that I made myself, using GIMP.
When you push Ctrl->1, it will go into 1 player mode, making the red player controlled by an (extremely buggy, incomplete and sucky) bot.
When you push Ctrl->S, it's *supposed* to go into server mode for netplay.
When you push Ctrl->C, it's *supposed* to go into client mode for netplay.

Some bugs I found (listed in order of most importance):
Netplay DOES NOT WORK!!!!

The bot will slide into walls and down through the floor!!

Sometimes the music glitches and will hold out a note until the note is played again. Almost like the computer forgot to end the note. Probably something i'm doing wrong with the midi sequencer.

Sometimes, when you minimize the window, the automatic FPS adjuster will make the FPS Uber high (up to 190fps)!
----------
up,down,left,right,space, and esc to quit

Eventually, the goal of the game will be to jump on top of the other player to squash them.

When it's done it will have netplay, so you can play with your buddies over a local network, or you will be able to use 1 keyboard with 2 people (asdw).

Right now you can test out what I have done and report bugs. Make sure you tell me what operating system you are using.

When I tested it on Ubuntu (linux) it was extremely slow and unplayable.

Anyone recognize the BG music?!
