Snow's Game Blog
WARNING : POSSIBLE SPOILERS.
:-: Hola, people. Here, you'll find my blogs about my game experiences and comments, opinions, as such. Mainly progression, too.
:-: Also, I usually only focus on one game until completion of it, before moving on to a different game. Sometimes, I play two games at the same time, switching between them occasionally, so I will entitle which game I'm blogging before the actual blog paragraph.
03/23/11 : I'm playing Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
1st Blog
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
- First blog post! Anyway, I actually started OoT (Ocarina of Time) a few weeks ago, so I'm kinda ahead. -
I finished Fire Temple, and got the 2nd medallion from 'Sworn Brother' Daruina. I went over to Ice Cavern, which is in Zora's Foundation where Jabu Jabu were. He's gone at this time period, sadly. I found Ice Cavern to be simply different, since that was my first experience with actual room puzzles. The first part, was pretty much straight-forwarded and simple, until the room with the ice block, I had to revert to my walk-through to pass that part. Ice Cavern is one of the mini-dungeons, like the Bottom of the Well, and Thieves' Hideout. I finally got the Iron Boots for Water Temple, so I went there. As foreshadowed from Ice Cavern, the place is full of tricky gimmicks and switches and swimming up and down everywhere. Here, Link met Ruto, his fianceé after SEVEN years. You're a bad fiance, Link.
2nd Blog
- Second blogging post! Dun, dun, dun, dun.-
After swimming around and defending off aquatic monsters, it sadly dawned on me that the entire Temple was literally a puzzle. Although, I had luck on my side and progressed fairly well, getting any keys for the temple I could get, manuvering myself through tricks and traps. I haven't died so far, luckily. I almost got stuck at the stage before Dark Link, and that was annoying, but I managed to get through barely. When I arrived in the room with Dark Link, I was so confused. Imagine the siuation when you enter a foggy watery room without obvious walls and a dead tree right smack middle of it. I ran past it, turned around, and was shocked to see me. In black! What am I, emo? I tried to fight back with my Biggoron sword, but obviously, the black dude kept parrying. I got annoyed and switched to my Megaton hammer to smash him to oblivion. Happily, it worked. I went to the other room, and got my Longshot. Wait, wait, hold up. UPGRADE, not a 'omg-awesome-i-want-that-nao' item? After all that work? Sheesh. Still, the x2 distance still should be useful! Right now, I'm at the part where I'm working with my block puzzle for the Boss Key. Snow's Game Blog
