My partner loves golf and one lazy afternoon we went shopping for clubs I thought this is going to be mega boring and he would owe me a nice meal for us together for going with him.

Well I admit I was wrong, what with the golf course simulator, the mini driving range and free master classes on offer I even ended up thinking of taking it up



the thread title? oh yes, the cost of the set literally made my eyes water - but for him they really are an investment as he is on the green almost as much as he sees me.

I paid about $500 for a 5'8 retro fish and a little more for a ding-proof 12" Elephant Gun. Those are surfboards. It's the only thing I do outside of soccer and running so the investment is worth my time.
