For those of you who love warcraft, starcraft, and diablo, this is your thread.

I have some information I thought would be fun to post. The first of which is a leaked tentative (subject to change) schedule from Blizzard Activision. I forgot the link to it, however I remember a couple of the important dates, which I will post below.

Diablo III is supposed to be released in the fourth quarter of 2011 according to the tentative schedule. Starcraft 2s first expansion which is called something about the swarm, I know the third is Legacy of the Void. Anyways that is supposed to be released in the late third quarter of this year, september apparently. However that could be affected by Diablo III or visa versa. Some dates on WoW patchs etc irrelevant stuff in my mind as I hate WoW. First game blizzard released were it showed they cared more about money to have a subscription game.

Warcraft IV The Edge of Eternity is supposed to be in the making and beta testing beginning in 2013. Yeah sure, just like the movie right lol, however Mike Morhaime CEO of Blizzard did say in an interview "the best selling RTS game would not be put to rest." The warcraft series was the first RTS game and had a major impact on the gaming industry. Followed up by Starcraft, other RTS games never broke selling records that the Warcraft Saga has put in place. Counterstrike, the original starcraft, Age of Empires, no game has broken the record for most games sold in the US. Starcraft II does break the record for warcraft III TFT however as the warcraft saga as a whole the record remains more equal to every other game they have released, WoW, starcraft, and Diablo. However I am sure with Diablo III and starcraft II still being big hits that will be put to rest. It goes to show how proud blizzard was to be the first company to conquer the market and the last. I am sure there will be a WC4 when is something only God knows.

According to blizzard and Mike Morhaime in an interview they are supposed to start beta testing for Diablo III in the Second Quarter of this year. We expect the same as SC2, so perhaps around May. Apparently they have finished Diablo III, all acts, and characters and are now working on polishing the game. However all blizzard fans know this is what truly takes the most time as blizzard famous saying is "We will take as long as we need to make sure the game is perfect and balanced." Of course Mike Morhaime states there will be some lack of balancing in the PVP as this is not their priority and if they truly wanted it 100% balance, with all skill combinations, all level stats, and variable from levels 1 to 99 that could take 100 years to get perfect. I will be optimistic and say look for it in stores around Christmas time, if not we will be seeing it in February.

Internet sources I used, Blizzard.com, LA Times, and some D3 freak site that has every single piece of information on blizzard and all their employees lol, stalkers. Please note Blizzard denies the Tentative schedule and refuses to comment on whether or not it is real. Which is typical as they don't want to put deadlines on themselves.
