I've been trying to figure out how to change the controls for Chrono Trigger using the Vizzed RGR plugin. I've searched through the boards, but haven't found any answers. All of the instructions seem to require that the mouse work on the ESC>Config>Input menu/screen, but for some reason it won't work. If anyone out there can help me to get the mouse to work on those screens or can walk me through the specific keyboard commands to change the game controls, please help! I'm stuck at the part in Chrono Trigger where I have to press L,R, and A after having spoken with the rat.

I checked it out myself. In the ESC menu the letter that is underlined in red in each line is important. If G is underlined, then pressing G on the keyboard changes the check box for that line (switch from checked to unchecked or the other way around).

Other than that, I couldn't find any way of changing anything. I think that the ESC>Config>Input menu is only meant to connect a PC controller. My impression is that you can't change the keyboard controls. I could be wrong, but I couldn't find a way to do it. Sorry.

There is a way to correct the menu cursor being stuck.
It works for some, while not for others for some reason.
I've personally ran into the issue, and this solution works.

Click on any page within the browser that you're playing the game on.
The game's page for example. That will bring the page on top of the game window.
Then click on the game's tab in your toolbar--
that will bring the game back to the top page.

After you've done this, move your mouse up to the game
and it should line it up with the menu cursor.
As far as the controls, you'll click 'Set Keys' in the Input
menu from the Config list. Afterward you'll enter the keys
for each control, try setting L and R as the same key -- "D" for example.

If your still there you have to change the video resolution to anything but W (windowed)screen... First-click the game.
Second-press esc.
Third-use keyboard arrow keys to go to CONFIG (on the right of GAME).
Fourth-continue to use arrow keys down to VIDEO.
Fifth-press enter on keyboard.
Sixth-use up and down to pick resolution (preferably close to your screen resolution), or any letter combination EXCEPT the ones with W (windowed).
FINALLY press spacebar when directed to-do-so Happy gaming yo!

Carl_B : So by going full-screen with keyboard navigation it calibrates the menu cursor with your mouse? I hadn't thought of that, that's a good solution if it works.

Carl_B : Yeah, this is a current issue with a few Vizzed gamers--the solution I gave is a common-known solution to a lot of people here, however, for some reason it doesn't always work for everyone. Thus, the more solutions the better dude.
