Hironobu Sakaguchi, father of Final Fantasy; he is one the many minds behind this JRPG. Lost Odyssey proves that a turn-based RPG still has merit in modern gaming. It is a great addition to any XBOX 360 game library. LOL it also takes 4 discs. What did you think of it?

I liked Lost Odyssey. It's one of the few JRPGs on XBOX360. It has a very good graphic and I liked the story and the characters. Especially the "Thousand Years of Dream" was something I really liked and enjoyed reading.

I bought this game maybe 3 months ago after hearing it around the Internet. Picked it up and loved it from the beginning. The skill link feature is great and unique, even though it made me keep weaker characters in just to learn abilities. Ring system was okay, but I with the did more with the assembly format. There were only like 5 rings in the game that I bothered using. Story is good, a bit slow at times, but still good. The combat was a weaker part of the game because of the whole turn format coming up AFTER you made your turns. I think it would be a lot better if it used Final Fantasy 10's format of doing that. The dream sequences were slow and I didn't bother reading most of them until I finished the game. It is, however, the best JRPG on the 360 in my opinion. A few flaws but all around a great JRPG.
