My siser cannot tell the difference between eggs of any variety, to her they are just eggs and is therefore blessed with being able to buy the 'cheep'est ones on the market.. but given the variety on sale Totts took it upon herself to do a lite research in to the different brands and test them out.

I found that cost was not always the deciding factor, organic, or grade, but that indeed some eggs tasted nicer than others.

For baking I would have no hsitation in using 'cheep' eggs to enusre that I use the adequate amount and given the amount of sugar and fat I am goingo add, it really makes no difference.

But for Fried, scrambled, omlettes etc it really does pay off to try out a few nad fing the ones you like.

While we are on the subjnect of eggs, what do you think of the report that they contain less colesterol than originally thought and we can eat two a day without problems.

and why are there so many health scares into the safety of US eggs and previously UK eggs? in Japan they are still eating them raw and noone has suffered.

Well, this, I deluded myself into figuring out. 

Maybe because of the eggs' thin shells, the egg companies owners ordered people to check it, and just send it away if it SEEMED clean. 
Personally, they should just clean it anyway, no matter if it's dirty or clean, and I don't care if they lose money over eggs being broken via cleaning, to be honest.

That's just what I think, lol.

But, you do have a good point... Maybe Japan actually does know how to take care of a egg and clean it? That's just what I think.

I normally get the better quality ones. I normally use them for scrambled eggs anyways.
