I bought the Laptop from the Item Shop a little while ago because I love the RGR and I visit the RTR sometimes.

I found that after buying it, I lost the ability to rate games. I'm guessing this has to do with the fact that I can't buy games since I technically own all of them. Is this an error or an implemented feature? I'm just curious because I miss being able to rate games after I play them. My written review looks 'blah' without the big bold number next to it.

You get Viz from rating the games, and since you pay nothing with the laptop, it would be unfair as you could get unlimited Viz for nothing. The rating thing gets activated when you own the game, so since it doesn't let you own the game it doesn't let you rate it. This isn't an error, it's there on purpose.

That was my general assumption, but I wasn't sure if it could be changed somehow in a way where you could rate without earning Viz. You can close this if you want.

I think it would be difficult to make it work like that, since it would have to check if we have a laptop and whether or not to give us viz, and then it would also have to let us own it but without us paying something for it, then if we sold the laptop it would need to not give us the Viz for selling games we bought for free, and it would just get complicated to make sure people don't scam it.
