I actually have two stages I like in melee and are still my favorite stages I like Pokemon stadium because it changes based on the type of stage and temple because I live the music and how the stage is created.

I really like to play on the temple from Zelda because it has a good environment. It is also very big too, so that is a plus. The main reason I liked it is because I used to stand near the far left edge, and when an enemy got near me, I would do a back flip of the edge and landed on the platform below me. That used to always tick my brother off. I also like the Brinstar stage. It is very small and compact. I really liked the lava at the bottom, so when you fell off, you almost automatically receive 50+ damage. I played the heck out of Melee.

TreasurePlanet23 : I agree with you I like the hyrule temple. I played on it so much that I know a way to escape from someone using the parasol, or if you play with peach. Jump of the end of the right side, and you will float to the other side. I figured that out as a strategy to beat my brother. Sadly he still demolished me lol. Still though that was one of my best runs against him. That is why I like the hyrule Temple better than any other stage, but still I like a lot of stages so I wouldn't say that is the only stage I like though .

My favorite stage is definitely the one with Kraid. It was so fun. I remember playing this game and looking at all the stages that it had that brawl lacked and thought "these stages are way cooler than Brawl's". Who else would agree with me. I think Kraid is kind of tied with Termina Bay for me really.

I'd definitely say either the Final stage or the Pokemon/Kanto Stage. Its atmosphere is pretty cool and I could listen to the theme all day long, if I ever wanted to.

I really like Fourside, Brinstar Depths (the Kraid one), Temple, and PictoChat. Fourside is large and has a different stage structure, Brinstar Depths adds a little platforming (and awesome music) to the game, Temple is huge, and PictoChat is nice and flat, but odd things can happen. I can't decide, so I'll narrow it down to PictoChat and Brinstar Depths.

I honestly love the Super Mario World for pretty much no other reason besides the always lovely tune playing there. Every other stage's theme burned into my head and got so annoying, but that banjo-like tune was always so fun and energetic that it was always a must choose stage for me.

The Poke Floats are really fun and the Rainbow Cruise is awesome and beautiful, and I liked the music. The Yoshi Island is good too, so is the Mushroom Kingdom, and the Pokemon Stadium because it has great stage transformations, and Fourside because well, I just like it and I  wonder why they didn't bring back that stage in brawl!

My favorite was Onett with the speeding car repeatedly going up and down the road crashing into whoever's in the road. That's a way I used to beat 2 lvl 9 computers in multiplayers. and the Final level map. The background is so epic and beautiful.

My favorite Melee stage is definitely Fourside. It's awesome. The cool music, the UFO, the background. It's still one of my favorite Smash Bros stages. Sure, the actual Fourside is almost nothing like its Smash Bros counterpart, but is amazing nonetheless.

In my opinion, My personal favorite stage on smash bros melee was peach's castle, I mean it looks exactly like it looked on super Mario 64! And I love it when that bullet bill comes and blows up on the castle!
