What are your thoughts on the new expansion. Are you happy or sad or both about what changes have been made in the old world? Do you think wow has become harder or easier because of this expansion? post any thoughts or comments about the new wow here.

I have an 85 Dranei warrior, named Bearskin, on the Hellscream server, and in my opinion, it may not be the graphical equivalent of some of your higher end console games, but the imagination, and story writing capabilities of the WoW dev. team, keep me coming back. I think they have done a great job with the changes, and the new expansion illustrates my point about the imagination of the design team. Some may argue that by making the game more fun for casual gamers in the last two expansions that the game has become too easy for the more hardcore gamer, but with a steady supply of daily quests, and reputation rewards to be had, I don't foresee anyone suffering from burnout any time soon, not saying it won't happen, just not any time soon.

fizdantilus : The good thing about the new expantion and the shattering patch is that wow is now both a casual and a hardcore game. casual in that if you enjoy questing and occasionally running instances, you can do it at ease to a certain extent. Hardcore being that when you hit lvl 85 and want to experience some of the mid-end game content, you can easily achieve this but also while achieving it, being presented with a challenge that is more on the difficult side but not making it nearly impossible to predict attacks the first time through. This mixture between hardcore and casual really is a refreshing taste for most wow veterans who were blowing through WOTLK and new members to the wow community. Not to say that wow is slowly becomming more and more casual, but at this point, it is really an enjoyable game, more so than it has been with the previous expansions.

I have mixed feelings about the whole thing. I kind of like what's happened to old world but at the same time I miss it. The new worlds are pretty awesome though. And I will say this for it, I'm really interested in the storyline now. I never really cared before but now I'm actually starting to pay attention. The cutscenes are really cool too. I think over all the changes are good, though I'm not happy that they took away my hunters volley... My lvl 85 Draenei hunter Sulëvana is my main.

Im not too happy tbh. I lvled my dreinei pally to 80 bout 6 months b4 the expansion. after it hit however, i just couldnt get ahold of the new mechanics, and my dps suffered greatly for it. I did enjoy how fury warriors got that extra boost when you first started with the hp restoring attack. Ive still got a few months of play time left, but i havnt played in a few months. Im kinda waiting till the excitment dies down b4 i start playing again, but my pally is officially finished-I already started making him into a banktoon.
