I have been concerning myself with the ideas of Freedom of the will, or autonomy, and determinism.

Free will, also known as agency or autonomy, is defined as being in control of ones life. That is one is able to make decisions concerning how their life is run.

On the other side of the debate is determinism, which states that we are not in control of our life. Rather the decisions that we make are determined by "outside" forces, such as psychology.

I would like to have your opinions on this. Actually I would like more than your oppinion. I would like to know why you believe the way that you do.
