Section #01 Part #01- Beginning your First Map

Most people think that RPG maker is too hard, because they can't fully set up a fully functioning map. You can't blame them, it takes some getting used to, so many labels and options, you don't know where to start! Here's some ways you can Start a decent map to start off your game! Follow these Instructions and information guidelines:
|instructions to get Started|
#01- Click Any "Tile" you want, located Via Pink window, there are Chairs, tables, Lamps, Beds, the whole nine yards for you to start with.
#02- move the mouse over to the big blank square (mostly known as the big box with the water in it) after selecting a tile, and click wherever you want to place it (Oh, and please don't do anything inappropriate, please, I don't want to get sued)
#03- Select some flooring for your new map, click from Grass, Wood floor, stone tiles, dirt, sand, and many more, (they are "autotiles", you can fill the whole map with them.), simply click the floor of your choice, and move your mouse to the blank, or pre-designed field, in other words, go crazy and fill the whole map with one tile, or... go crazy and use different tiles to make a pattern!.
#04- Go back to the furniture tiles, such as Chairs, and place them wherever in the map you want, make a small virtual home, or make a jail cell, or a mental room, anything you want to set up, knock yourself out and do it.
#05- Use water tiles to make a pool, or any other accessory to the room, you can even change what things you can and cannot walk on or over, But we'll get to that later, you n00bs need to read this first (just kidding, just kidding, don't throw your 20-sided dice at me, geez...)
#06- Make a maze, pick a wall tile (brick tile, plaster tile, stone tile, wood tile), and click one, and then click where you want to form your wall, these are not really considered autotiles, and can loop and make your map look ugly, or maybe even fugly, so watch where you place the wall tiles.
Section #01 Part #02- Tips for your map
#01- try not to overuse the same kind of tile, it'll tend to get extremely boring for the person playing it.
#02- Don't fill the room with tiles that the characters can't walk on, for example, don't expect to fill the floor with wall tiles and expect your character to move properly.

Section #02- What are tilesets?
Tilesets, also known as "Chip Sets" are the flooring, furniture, walls, water, and designing components of your map, basically, it's what makes the map the theme in which you want it to be, (sick of thr RTP tiles? Go to http://www.gamingw.net/ and go to their resources! They have alot of new things everyday!), also, Tilesets can be changed with importing creations or downloaded resources.

Section #03- Other additions to your map
Do you make Dungeons, or do you make houses with your map? Or, implying that you're making a game, do you do both? Neither? Do you make towns? Or do you want to make something different? Here's some things that will make your House, Dungeon, town, or whatever else look fancy:
Dungeons:
#01- Make some sort of Puzzle to make characters try and accomplish, but try to make it unique, no "hit the switch and open the door" kind of thing, try something like this:
Your character can't pass unless All four blocks match, and you can only move each block once.
#02- Try to make big obstacles to get them hooked, such as walking on the ice and you could fall through if you step on the same one too much, or maybe even dodge fire or walk across the minefield!
#03- Don't use the same music for every Dungeon, spice it up a little and download MIDIs from Gamingw.net's "Music" vault!
Houses:
#01- Make some sort of animal crossing-like effect, like furniture events, when you buy "couch", make an event in the living room that allows you to place the couch in the location of the event, in other words, make a go to the Yellow-squared thingy and click it, double click where you want the couch to Pop up and double click in the big white space:
Go to the third event option page
Click Conditional Branch
Go To Conditional Branch Page 2, "If hero Posesses..." Ex: Couch, chair.
Click the desired item the party or character needs in order to make the event work
(this shouldn't be difficult):
Double click under the conditional Branche's "if hero posesses..." and go back to the first Event option page:
click "Switch Operation"
Select "#001" or whatever switch Number you want to choose
Give the Switch event a name, like "Couch event"
Select "New Page" in the big event page Box
Go to the second page you made, and click "Switch activated" or "Switch ON", and select the Switch number you chose to use
Double click the pink space (the little pink box under the switch activation names)
And finally, Select a tile to use (Chair, couch, anything), Click "OK" and you're all set!
#02- Try to make a couple windows and set a background:
Right click "MAP001" or whatever you want to name the map
click Parallax Background's small check box
double click the big black box under the checkmark
select a background from the list
Click "OK"
Go to the pink tile on the lower layer
click the pink tile
Go to anywhere you want on the map
click the spot to put the background tile and you're all done!
#03- Or, make the room for yourself and play to your heart's contempt in it!
Towns:
#01- Put people in it, but don't make them say anything stupid, please ....
#02- Put some detail in it, (Example: Flowers, leaves, anything that comes to your mind)
#03- Set up little houses and show people doing everyday things or whatever you want, you micromanager
Unique tiles and rooms:
#01- Make a Gallery of some sort, put a few pictures in there and let your character roam free
#02- Make an arcade, place minigame events in the game, and make the character earn points for items
#03- Make a trading post, Have your character trade with NPC (Non-player Character) events for items and/or money.

Sure, you can turn it into a download, I can't turn it into a download yet, my site is using all its monthly MB allowance.

Can you put me in the credits for " Guide Made by lbock3 " ? I would appreciate it
