One movie I absolutely love and care for and call George is Cats Don't Dance. It's an animated musical I first saw when I was about 5. It's awesome, great music and great plot and great everything else.

[REC] - I know there's been an american version but, trust me, original Spanish version is WAY better. It keeps you tense all the time, from the beginning to the end

Mute Witness - it is a great suspense film with a few dashes of humour here and there

A Tale of Two Sisters - Korean terror, creepy

Dead End - very good thriller

Kiss of the Dragon
The main character is played by Jet Li. He is an agent who gets framed for a murder. He eventually becomes friends with a hooker and they team up to help each other out. The most epic scene in the movie involves him fighting off 30 black belts all at once.

Megaman NT Warrior: Program of Light and Dark.

The movie was unfortunately only shown in Japan, so I've only seen the English subbed version, but nonetheless, it was good.

Donnie Darko is one of my favorites, but for whatever reason it's pretty obscure to other people.

When I was little, I had a VHS cartoon movie called The Ketchup Vampires. Now that I look back on it, it was pretty corny, but I still have warm memories about it.

And I just watched The Rocky Horror Picture Show on VHS. LOVED it!

'The Dead Poets Society' and 'The Prize Winner of Defiance Ohio' are two movies that very few people I know have seen or heard of. Dead Poets is a bit more well known, but Prize Winner is a very rare movie.

I don't think many know about The Little Rascals, but that movie was HILARIOUS.

American Hardcore:A Tribal History... A documentary about the hardcore punk movement of the late 70s and early 80's in America, starting with Black Flag and the Circle Jerks in California, and spreading from one coast to the other, where such bands as Minor Threat and Bad Brains started in D.C. after hardcore had spread to the east coast.

Another State of Mind...A documentary about the Social Distortion and Youth Brigade American Tour which didn't make it to every venue due to their old tour bus breaking down. (by tour bus, i mean an old "short bus" they bought that kept breaking down).

The Filth and the Fury...The Sex Pistols Documentary, which reveals alot about the Pistols and their ongoing battle with their manager, their country, and their herion addicted bass player. Also reveals alot about the bands mysterious beginning, such as the origonal members, and band name.

All good movies if your are even slightly interested in punk rock or rock history...because without this type of music, none of the alternative/rock bands of today would exist.

ffolkes. Also called Assault Force. It's on Hulu (yay!). I'm a fan of cheesy old action flicks, and this one has Roger Moore playing just about the most un-Bond hero one could imagine.

The girl who leapt through time.
I have to admit that this is anime, but it's about this girl who gains the ability to run and jump back in time. It's one of those movies I could watch over and over.

Lets see, for other more normal movies...
I love love love the Secret of Kells. It's an animated Irish movie.

Hmm... I can't think right now of one but I'll just pick Storm of the Century, good 6 hours of film Most people probably wont want to sit through that. Great movie though.

"The Truman Show" is one of them.

"Pleasentville" is another.

And another one is, big suprise, is "Rascal", a movie about a raccoon. Good movie, if I do say so myself.

Well there's the Rocky Road Horror Show, which freaked me out at first, but was so entertaining and strange that I just got pulled into it. And I guess Cassandra's Dream: it was out quite a while ago, and stars Ewan McGregor, which was pretty much why I wanted to watch it in the first place. But nonetheless its still quite a captivating thriller.

And yes, and I totally agree with liking the Truman Show. I love that movie.
