Not sure if he quit or was "fired"... but Rick Sanchez is gone from CNN.

I personally couldn't be happier. Never really liked him . Hopefully his replacement will be a little less biased.

yeah, I like a lot of the other news anchors from CNN. Wolf Blitzer and Anderson Cooper seem to be pretty fair in their assessment of things.... but Rick always seemed to be overboard or unfair... hard to explain without an example though =/

From what I heard he got fired for saying something about Jon Stewart and Jewish people or something like that. But when I heard what he said it didn't sound like something you'd get fired for, I think CNN just wanted to get rid of him. I kinda thought he was funny(not on purpose), he was like slow and corny 24/7, but it made for good satire.
