gameface138 : I’m not sure what the exact particulars were but what she told me was she was staying with a family that was like really religious and I guess she either did something or said something that they didn’t agree with.


It does shed some light on how hypocritical people can be because she’s disabled yet a deeply religious family kicked her to the curb. I wondered and still wonder sometimes what the man upstairs might have thought about all that but I don’t judge.



I like her am disabled and god forbid if I was ever in her position the last thing that I would want on my mind is “Where am I going to sleep tonight?” etc. It will never happen with me because I am responsible and take care of my responsibilities and such but god forbid , that’s what worries me about her.



To be honest this is what we really argued about is that she didn’t want to A save whatever money she had (And if you’ve ever been on disability or a fixed income you know how valuable money is.) and to be able to stand on her own where she did not have to rely on other people if she was on her own.



The people she hung out with who would come around and say to her “Come on, we got to go to the bank so you can give me some money.” etc just added fuel to the arguments because I just did not like these people and she knew it.



I remember one time in particular when I was working all night (I work out of my house.) and at the time I was doing work for an office and such. I got off of work at 6AM and passed out on my couch because I was working for these people and doing my work as a writer simultaneously so I was exhausted.


Anyway about 8AM one of these leaches as I call them showed up and was making a little bit of noise in my house and I sat up and this “Friend” of hers was like “Wake up sleepy head” and such. I pretty much said that I had been working all night and that I needed a couple of hours because I had to work later that day and such. The “Friend” basically looked at me with a snobbish expression on her face and said in a really sarcastic tone “Just quit…”


Maybe and probably because I was exhausted that triggered me to say I’m an adult who acts like an adult and pays his bills and takes care of his responsibilities and doesn’t leach of people to get money that the person who has the money really needs, what a concept eh? I said this right in front of my old girlfriend so needless to say that led to an argument later that day but I make no apologies for what I said.

As I said I did not hide my dislike for these people and made no attempt to either. There was a relationship between her and I and she was my girlfriend at one point but I was a friend to her first and foremost and if I was a bad guy for sticking up for her than oh well. I don’t regret it.

As far as your suggestion… I actually tried reaching out to her a couple of times but I have resigned myself to when and if she needs me she’ll call.

I've passed out a number of times from standing up too fast (positional hypotension), and a couple of times from food poisoning. I can always identify the first type by the fact that my vision goes grey around the edges, and the second type because my hearing goes strange - sort of metallic. I've learned that if I start experiencing either symptom, I should 'sit down before I fall down'.

Not YET lol. I haven't fainted but I've felt like I was going to faint several times before. Once my friend did in a rehearsal for our concert and everyone freaked out.

Not personally have I blacked out, but I've seen my boyfriend black out before. Scariest Crap Nuggets ever!

Yeah but it was only for a couple of seconds. I went to the hospital for the flu because I was unable to eat or drink anything without it coming up. I was dehydrated and malnourished. So when I got to the hospital my body gave out and I collapsed. I only blacked out for a few seconds and then they put me in a wheelchair.

I've blacked out when I was injured back in the Marines. I've also blacked out due to drinking to much. lol

Yes actually I have blacked out a few times. 2 of the times was because of excessive drinking when I was younger. I do not recommend getting to that point, things never work out well..haha

One time though I blacked out from dehydration (I guess) after a football game in HS. The game was over, and I was sitting on the bench and everything just started getting dark. I felt cold. I felt like my eyes were open, and that I was barely conscious, but I couldn't see anything. At the time it was pretty scary because I didn't know what was wrong with me. It wound up not being a big deal though, as the coaches just gave me a bunch of fluids, and some simple sugar and I started to slowly feel better. I have never had something like that happen since thankfully.

It's a good thing that I never blacked out. I haven't even felt like I was going to black out either. Lucky me.

I have never actually blacked out. I almost got knocked unconscious once when I was kicked in the head during karate sparring.

I have once> A few years ago in the sixth grade we were in the weightroom for like the 3rd time ever and I was doing the powercling, if any of y'all know what that is. It's where you pull the bar with weight on it to your chest and squat. Anyways, when I did that I fell over and broke my arm, and of coarse I blacked out, only for a few seconds though.

I have blacked out.I once received a blow to the heqad while playing baseball.i got hit in the head and blacked out.Next thing i know I woke up in the hospital with stitches in my head.

Yes, I was on a boat (used to be in sea scouts), I was supposed to steer it, before I passed out via dehydration. First I got light headed, then my vision and hearing dropped quality, then very sick felling, then I lost all balance and blacked out.

I guess most of the blackouts have been because of drinking. And sometimes I faint when it's too hot outside. But not only because of the heat, either I haven't had enough water or haven't eaten enough or doing some kind of physical work.
Last time, hmm, I think it was some 2 years ago. We were trying to find a festival place somewhere in the middle of nowhere in mountains in Spain and we ran out of water. And the heat was terrible. And when I lit a cigarette, I fainted. Not sure why. Probably I was very dehydrated.
Whatever the case, I hate blackouts.

Haha funny stuff. I however have never blacked out or fainted before.

I have never blacked out but one time I felt really woozy because I did not have food that day besides snacks.
