That's just a crying shame, the kid obviously was totally oblivious towards the situation. I really don't think you can really blame the hotel or anything though.

Cyro Xero : I know...that's terrible.I heard about that on the news when it first happened...I was in shock and disgust that a parent would leave a baby unattended crawling on the floor to get possession of a herpes filled used condom. It's also disturbing to know how dirty,filthy and unsanitary some hotels are and can be. The housekeeper is obviously getting paid for doing absolutely nothing. I'd sue the hotel to the owner to the employee's if that were my child!

Seriously, this has changed my view on hotels forever. I mean, THAT must be some pretty low level of cleaning, if that happened. Oh yeah, not to mention also sick and disgusting. Anyways, I feel sorry for that 4 year old, although it happens to heaps of people, it's still sick everytime.

Having had a sister tell me stories of finding such items regularly throughout hotel rooms, and the little known fact that some, if not most, hotels ONLY CHANGE THEIR SHEETS daily, I cannot say I am surprised by the filth of hotels. But I will say that I very much feel for that poor child who will have to not only live with that disease for the rest of his life, but also grow up knowing that the event was broadcasted allover the news and on forums such as these, to brand him the rest of his life. That is very sad to me.
