Noobolicious : The major parties we have right now are:

Liberals, Conservatives, New Democratic Party, Green Party (NOT the Marijuana Party, they are two completely different things, the Green Party is concerned with the environment), and Bloc Quebecois (although they lost so badly in the most recent election that they aren't a major party anymore, but they were for many years).

The leader of the country (the equivalent to the President, if you will) is the leader of the party with the most seats. He/she is called the Prime Minister.

I don't know how to effectively explain how the system is set up, so if you're really curious I guess you could read the Wikipedia article:

Thanks for links.^^ I never knew Canada had such an interesting system. Reminds me of Australia. I also found it interesting about Canada having a Queen Elizabeth II. Maybe next time I'm there I'll see if I can go by her home.  However, the furthest I ever went into Canada was Montreal, it felt so weird driving in kilometers.... so I hope I don't get lost or get a speeding ticket.

Do you know to summon people on vizzed and how it works I just saw it on the popcorn thread and seems like fun hope I get picked. ^^
