I really enjoy how they are all similar and yet so different. I love the recurring elements such as chocobos, moogles, airships, Cid, Mythril, crystals, and all that. I really love the stories. The artwork by Yos***aka Amano is really great. The music (his name escapes me though) is on par with the art and story. There's just so much to love.

Maybe the better question would be Whats NOT so good about the Final Fantasy Series. I mean all of the games are so great, epic story, music, and gameplay. Cool Magic where you can summon elementals and such. So many great memories of playing all these games through the years.

I think that Final Fantasy would be so cool if they went back to the way they used to make games. It just seems that todays version of Final Fantasy (as well as many other games) Is too linear. You walk down a path, kill a monster then watch a cutscene for 10 mins.

I'm not really that fanatical about Final Fantasy. I enjoy 5, and 8. I can somewhat like 12 somewhat. I'd rather play Kingdom Hearts, Star Ocean, and Dragon Quest. I enjoy the Final Fantasy series, but it is sometimes hit or miss for me. The gameplay is good, but the turn-based action system whatever the flip it is is kinda pointless. If anything, Phantasy Star was the better series when it was still offline games in that franchise. Just play Phantasy Star 4, and tell me what you thought. I doubt you'll hate it.
