I downloaded Ocarina of Time on Mupen64 (and I am loving it), but I can't figure out what keys on my laptop control the yellow direction buttons. They're pretty much necessary to control in order to play, and I just can't figure it out. The rest of the controls I've figured out and are working awesome, it's just those that have allured me.

I'm also on a mac if that makes a difference... I looked around on the forums and couldn't find any guide or other thread talking about this D: Help would be awesome, otherwise I'm not sure how far I can get in this..

Hi. I don't have a Mac and cant tell you what the buttons are by default.
However you can check for yourself what they are (and even change them) by opening Mupen64, going to the menu bar and going into the configuration dialog (it should be under options).

I hope you can sort it out from there, if not I'll look for some more in depth details for you

Thanks for the suggestions, but there's no configuration dialog option in my option menu, everything under options is about changing the audio or the speed. @___@;; And in preferences it's just screen size options and stuff...

Alas D;
I'll try downloading the other emulator and see if it has a handy dandy menu bar like you're describing.

Hmm, must be different menus depending on which version, windows or mac.
Check under all the menus, if the option to change controls isnt under any one of them it must be a windows option

I found out that for windows you can get a thing for mupen64 called nrage input plugin, maybe that is what you need as well.
It generates a screen like this one-

I'll keep looking into this for you in case the other emulators are not good for you.

Not sure if the controls are different between the RGR version and the Mupen version but in the RGR I believe the keyboard default is:

-Spacebar for start menu
-Left control to attack
-Z to change camera or target enemy
-Shift to jump or open doors

I think that is right... but yea I spent like 30 mins trying to figure it all out lol. Also when you go to equip items like slingshot and sticks use the number pad on right of keyboard.
