JigSaw : I like the Mario and Pikachu part. It was my favorite.

So here is mine.

The Saving

As I spread my wings in the open air,
I soared above the forest flare.
When I swept through the amazing burn,
I got to my house and performed a turn.
As I went to my hollow oak tree,
I saw my two siblings, Wallace and Kristie.
I got them out as soon as I can,
I only found out that I forgot my friend Dan.
I helped them get out as fast as I could,
We traveled far, and I dropped them in Hospital Wood.
I looked back at my house, crying and weeping,
I then turned around and saw them happily sleeping.
I knew I would never forget this day
Because I left my toy robot named Sir Clay.


Alright here is another poem.

Gray

The color gray is the dullness in the people's lives.
It is very contagious in a surprise.
It continuously gets passed on and on through the people's stare
Gray is the world where they don't care about anywhere.
Gray is the horrible thing that we found.
Gray is not just a color, but it is the most dangerous disease to catch around.

I think I have to time to squeeze another time for another poem.

We have 40 days until the end and we have 11/20 entries. This is turning out very well.

Only three entries... hmn, this shall be tough. Well, not all of them rhyme (surprisingly a lot of poems don't) but here are my three:

Sonnet for the D&D Gamer

Playing the game of Dungeons and Dragons
Out fates hanging on the roll of the dice.
My ranger running back to the wagons
In a world described by Margaret Weiss.
A fireball blast destroys all our foes,
Into their remains the thief disappears.
What he will find there the gods only know;
This is how I pass my time with my peers.
An ambush at dusk caught us by surprise,
Low level thugs attacked with all their might.
Then me and the others started to rise,
Making sure none of them survived the night.

Sadly I'm not the next Bilbo Baggins
Just a geek playing Dungeons and Dragons.


Siphoned

Siphon my soul out from my eyes.
My will to live gone in a flash.
How can I live like this?
Soulless and with no way to survive.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder they say.
What beauty is their for me to see,
With eyes that see only blackness and pain?
What meaning is there for me?

Life is a cruel master,
Money it’s bitter mistress.
I tire of playing their game,
I just want it to end.

Love will save me they say.
Love is the lighthouse miles away,
While I am in the storm tossed sea
In a ship that just splintered.

Siphon my life out from my heart,
I’m not strong enough to fight.
Numbness inside calls to me,
Dark despair calling me home.

Master and mistress won their game.
There was never a way for them to lose.
I’m lost, soulless and numb again.
There is no saving me.

The Place That Exists No More

Breezes blowing through evergreen leaves -
Waves crashing upon the shore -
The place where forests meet the sea -
The place that exists no more.

Now instead of trees, buildings stand -
And the air is choked with smog -
There's no longer room in this land -
For trees blanketed by fog.

I have a lot of poems, this was a really hard choice.

What will you do
In your darkest hour
when you're full of fear
and void of hope?
Where will you go
when you have nowhere to turn,

and nowhere to hide?

To the Love of My Life

Love, I have never encountered anyone
that has consumed my thoughts
so that everyday, every hour,
every second of my time
is thinking of your existence.
My words would be decorated vanity
and everything that I can ever say
would be unworthy and pathetic
to your wonderful ears.

I speak in clichés
to my dismay
So for you, my Love
I will express my affection directly.
I have never met anyone in my life
so beautiful
lovely
pure
pleasant
intelligent
interesting
charming
perfect
and flawless...

Ha, what a pitiful man I am...
I laugh at how my thoughts linger
upon such a person as you
You, the perfection I have sought out
the girl whom I have never met...
the girl who appears to me
only in my dreams.
Your existence intrigues and excites me
and your absence from my life
brings me to tears.
My tears, they drown me in sorrow
sweeping me away like a mighty current
until the day that you come.
Your grand entrance

And my eyes will be filled
with tears of joy
falling like drops of healing rain.

How long must I wait
for you, my love?
When will you arrive
and rescue me from my loneliness?

The world we live in:
The world we live in is a media centric place
were plenty of products are in your face.
Through commercials and shows
we are fed brain blows.
The games to play and movies to see
makes those heroes the thing to be.
If we make a change right here, right now
then we won't be acting like a milked cow.

I wrote these during my emo period of high school, and they're posted under the name evildarkpoison on allpoetry if anyone is wanting to read the rest, but imo these are my two best

Yes they are dark, but hopefully they won't change anyone's feeling about me (lmao) and I understand that the darkness will really hurt my chances of winning the contest haha...


Entry 1. Together Forever, my version of a dark/love poem

I sit here pondering
With your blood on my hands
Wondering why I have
Almost killed you again

I really care about you
I wish to be near you
But whenever you're around
The screams and voices start

These psychotic screams
They instruct me to kill

And the only thing I can see
In my mind, is you
The images start
I see you in a bloody wedding dress
With a knife through your chest

Even though it doesn't seem so
No matter what the voices say
Or what the images show
I will love you always

Whether death do us part
Or it brings us together
We will be together
Together, Forever


Entry 2. The Hellish Cerberus (This one was my take on a mythological poem, I decided to write about the Cerberus, and I kind of threw a Dante's Inferno-style spin on it, as if it were guarding the gates of Hell)

I see the hellish beast
Before me
Guarding the gates of hell

The demonic dog
Three heads in all
Each as deadly as the next

Surrounded by skulls
Of its previous victims
Only few have passed
Through this deadly beast
To the underworld itself

I see it step forward
With its massive paw
And shatter the soul
Of some helpless man

It steps to the side
To shatter another soul
And I see the entire creature

Three dog-like heads
And a dragon like tail
Are the structures of this,
This guardian of hell

I go slightly forward
Attempting to enter
And the massive creature looks my way

It looks me over
And seems to grant me access
But when I try to go by
He shatters me like all the rest

I was oh so close
To getting through the gate
But dying by the Hellish Cerberus
That is my fate.
