Mega Man 6 introduced 3 robot masters that were based off of warriors Knight Man (Medieval Knight), Yamato Man (Samurai Warrior), and Tomahawk Man (Native American Chief). The focus on this one is going to be Tomahawk Man. Tomahawk Man made his debut in Mega Man 6, so lets learn about this warrior robot master.

Background- Just like Knight Man and Yamato Man Tomahawk Man was built for combat. He was created by the United States of America. He is based off of a Native American Chief possibly after the Sioux or Cheyenne. He could be based off of Chief Crazy Horse or Chief Sitting Bull. He was originally created to participate in mock Native American battles and in sense talk about the Native American warriors.

When the United States got wind that Mister X would be sponsoring a world tournament. They entered Tomahawk Man into the tournament. It should be noted Tomahawk Man was eager to enter to prove he was the best warrior in the world and to make his country proud. However, unknown to the world at that time Mister X was none other than Dr. Wily.

Dr. Wily took the 8 robot masters and modified them to do his bidding in his latest scheme. However, Tomahawk Man did not really need to be modified for combat because he was 1 out of 3 robot masters that were already designed for that role.

After being reprogrammed by Dr. Wily. Tomahawk Man took over an old fort in the High Plains of the United States. He designed his fort after the old west theme. He eagerly waited for Mega Man to engage him in a duel. However, he waited for Mega Man to start the battle due to him having a high sense of honor. He put up a very good fight but Mega Man eventually defeated him.

After the events of Mega Man 6 he does make cameo appearances but it is shown he is not working for Wily anymore. Most likely he is on his own, or he went back to participating in Native American battles while educating those about their history.

Appearance- Tomahawk Man has red/orange feathers at the top of his hat. He has a Tomahawk cannon one one of his hands that allows him to shoot his signature weapon. He is a human based robot master designed after a Cheyenne or Sioux type Indian. His armor is blue, red, orange, yellow, and green. He is sometimes seen with warrior paint on his face.

Personality- He is very brave when it comes to battle. Despite being brave in battle he has a high sense of honor. Thus, he is friends with Yamato Man and Knight Man since all 3 are based off of warriors and have a high sense of honor. He does not like liars and cannot stand dirty tricks. He is shown to be very reclusive and does not give much information about his personal life outside of what he was designed for. Due to being a warrior he is highly disciplined.

Attack- He is very tricky in battle although he lets the player/opponent make the first move. He is very fast and has several attacks. He likes to jump around and tries to collide with the player/opponent. He can fire feathers from his hat. The feathers are actually sharp projectiles that can do damage. If the player/opponent gets close to him he will hit them with his Tomahawk or feather projectiles. His main attack is to fire Tomahawk projectiles. These projectiles can do serious damage if they make contact.

Weakness- He is tough because he is good at fighting long distance and close range. His main weakness is the Plant Barrier. The Plant Barrier can block his feathers and they can do damage to Tomahawk Man himself. However, the player has to get close to use the Plant barrier leaving the player open for attacks from Tomahawk Man.

If the player defeats him they will get his Silver Tomahawk weapon. This weapon can cut through just about anything. It is also very effective at taking out enemies that are in high places or on walls. The Tomahawks usually travel in an upward path.

Here is his Mega Man 6 Data

Height 177 CM or 5'9

Weight 87 KG or 192 pounds

He is solar powered.

Here is his CD Data

A robot master based off of a Native American Warrior. He is very accurate with his weapons

Good Point- Brave

Bad Point- Very Reclusive

Likes- Horse riding

Dislikes- Liars, cheaters, and dirty tricks

He is excellent at riding horses as Native American Warriors were known for their horseback riding. Being full of honor he hates liars and those that do dirty tricks in battles.

Tomahawk Man is a lot like Yamato Man, and Knight Man. All 3 as stated are based off of warriors. All 3 were originally designed for combat. In addition, all three are friends with each other because all three have a high sense of honor. Not to mention all 3 do not like dirty tricks or cheaters in battle.

Like his friends Tomahawk Man is not really aggressive even after being reprogrammed by Dr. Wily he always lets his opponent make the first move. This is due to him still having a high sense of honor even after working for Wily. However, once the battle starts he fights brave and aggressively.

After the events of Mega Man 6 he is shown not to be working for Wily, but yet is still alive. One theory is that after the events of Mega Man 6 he was freed from Wily's control and became a loner. Another theory is that he was rebuilt by the USA and went back to participating in duels and educating others about Native American History. A final Theory is that Wily just moved on but yet he still allows Plant Man and Centaur Man to work for him. Thus, it is most likely the first two theories are more likely.

It should be noted his fort/base is loosely based off the Old West theme as it has cow boy enemies in it, and the Rocky Mountains and high plans can be seen in the background. As stated he is likely based off of Chiefs Crazy Horse and Sitting Bull. This would make him also based off the Cheyenne and Sioux tribes. This concludes the Tomahawk Man biography.
