Mega Man 2 is what put the Mega Man franchise on the map. It also introduced the current 8 robot master format. Crash Man also known as Clash Man was one of the 8 robot masters that made their debut in Mega Man 2.

After being defeated by Mega Man in the first game. Dr. Wily created 8 robot masters and sent them to not only defeat Mega Man but to take over the world. Dr. Wily used Guts Man and Bomb Man as templates to make Crash Man sometimes also known as Clash Man. He gave him the ability to create high powered explosives. He also gave him the ability to use a target sensor to make sure his bombs hit their target. He is very obedient and loyal to Dr. Wily

He started to cause destruction for Dr. Wily in his attempt to take over the world and lead Mega Man into a trap. He thought his high powered weapons would allow him to defeat Mega Man. However, he was a little bit too over confident. He was defeated by Mega Man ending his rampage. Since Mega Man 2 Crash Man has appeared in other games as well.

Appearance- Crash Man is often shown with red armor and a yellow chest and arms. His armor is very bulky and thick to withstand explosives. Instead of having hands his hands are bombs that look like drills. He appears to be wearing red shoes.

Personality- Crash Man is revealed to be honest and loyal. He is very loyal to Dr. Wily. However, he can be very aggressive and can be unpredictable. He can be calm one moment then go on a rampage the next. He loves to cause explosives and destruction. He can be over-confident as he thought he could defeat Mega Man in a duel.

Attacks- Despite having very bulky armor he can jump high. He loves to jump and fire bombs. His bombs have guidance sensors on them so they can hit the target. His bombs are powerful and can last longer to get extra hits.

Weaknesses- His attack pattern is simple. He simply walks around and jumps. His jumping pattern can easily be learned. He is weak to weapons that involve wind. He is weak to air shooter and he would likely be weak to Wind Man's weapon as well. IT is not known why this is his weakness but it is speculated it effects his jumping ability.

After the player gets him he will get crash bomb. The bomb can attack to enemies, but it can also break certain walls. However, this weapon uses a lot of energy compared to other weapons from Mega Man 2 and games that feature Crash Man.

Crash Man made his debut as I stated in Mega Man 2 he also appeared in future games. In most games his crash bombs are his weapons. Him being calm and full of rampage the next might suggest he has a split personality. He loves to cause explosives. One reason he is known by two names is in Japan Crash and Clash come from the same root word. This is why in some games it has him as Clash Man while others it is Crash Man.
