(skip to the end if you want to ignore this story that’s based on true events… well the first paragraph.)
So when doing my semi monthly shopping at Walmart, grabbing some food for work and some necessities for the house and my dog, I noticed that I’ve been lacking my favorite rooster logo sriracha bottle and tried
to find it. It was no luck, Walmart was either out of stock or I didn’t try hard enough. So I checked out, went to the next Walmart hoping it has what I need. The next Walmart (smaller, neighborhood Walmart) I found the sriracha bottle but I was so shocked at the price. $20 for a freaking bottle?!?!? I had to see why and noticed it was a shortage / legal battle going on and I didn’t know (since my last bottle lasted for 5 months and I rarely buy it). Sure I can get the other brands but no it’s not the same. I want my rooster sriracha sauce.
Since then I lost my house, I lost my girl, my car got repossessed and I’ve been living in the box ever since I saw the price of sriracha and how terrible inflation and supply and demand have become to this society.
So I’m here to ask for a donation. If you can help this poor sweet man get a bottle of sriracha from the Huy Fong brand you will receive a pamphlet of the person you’re helping, some prizes from food stamps (I don’t know where, I don’t use them nor apply), to money (not my money), or even a brand new car (probably stolen).
If Oprah and Dwayne Johnson can ask us to donate money to Maui and write off their taxes through donation, I can too.
Joking aside, has anyone bought Sriracha sauce lately with these ludicrous prices or what? How’s life without the sauce? Did you even know???
