Magna (short for Magnet) Centipede is a character and maverick from Mega Man X2. So what is this character's background. I'm going to explain in a bio of this character.

Magna Centipede was originally a Maverick Hunter. He served under commander Zero in the special 0 unit. He was a skilled maverick hunter as he was a ninja. He could appear and disappear making him a lethal hunter. He also had a powerful weapon called Magnet Mine. He served in the 0 unit for a while. Until Sigma went maverick.

Centipede went Maverick during the events of Mega Man X1. He followed Sigma, who was a former Maverick Hunter himself, His Ninja abilities and Magnet Mines were now deadly to everybody. He became a cold blooded killer. Sigma also upgraded his weapons. Thanks to Sigma Magna Centipede could now spread the virus with his tail. He does this in battle weakening the player if they do not break his tail. Centipede is also very good with computers. This is evidence when he uses computers to spread the Sigma Virus as he takes over a Cyber Security base in Mega Man X2.

After the events of X1 he is still part of Sigma's rebellion that is still at large. He then uses his abilities and new abilities to spread the Sigma Virus. It is evident that Sigma values him. As Sigma trusts him to spread the virus. Sigma himself uses his stage to confront X and later Zero in the game.

During the events of Mega Man X2 Magna Centipede is destroyed by the Maverick Hunters. His base he took over is also destroyed by the Maverick Hunters.

In battle Centipede is a formidable opponent. He uses his ninja skills. He appears then vanishes. The main thing to watch out for is his tail as he uses his tail to pull X in to infect him with a virus. The virus will weaken X. His mines are also powerful.
