I've not been in hot topic that many times but I can't recall ever seeing any emo looking person working the few times I've been to one which seems sorta odd when you think of the hot topic stereotype but I guess that just proves you can't trust stereotypes.

It’s been 11 years since I’ve been at hot topic. I remember buying this hummingbird hoodie that I still wear to this day, quality is great. The woman didn’t look emo at all but the second she started talking, I knew. I knew she was emo saying “AWESOME-SAUCE” and “What the flip?”

Mind you this is when adventure time was popular and its 2012, the vernacular is way different than today’s emo I think.

Point is, I haven’t seen a worker that isn’t emo, tho skateboarding emos are a thing.. didn’t know

I'm not a big fan of Hot Topic. There's a few in my city and I visit at least a few times a year but I never end up getting anything because the only things that I would be interested in are the exclusive Funko pops and the anime shirts and items. But the exclusive pops always sell out right away and they only ever carry stuff for anime that are the super popular ones, never the ones that I'm interested in buying stuff of.

The rest of the stuff they sell doesn't interest me so I go in, look around for like 5 minutes and then leave.
