Did a lot in the last month. Added 17 more Switch games to the collection and lost Xenoblade Chronicles 2, which brought the total all the way up to 375 total games. Total value of the collection crossed $10K as a result too which is crazy.

I also bought a bunch of 3DS games during the Atlus sale last week and spent most of the past 4-6 weeks buying PS Vita games since it looked like the store was gonna close. These are all the games that I picked up this time around, including a few big ones.

The thing that I worked on most since my last post was my investment into Fire Emblem. Just a couple months ago, I didn't like Fire Emblem and only owned Three Houses and Warriors and had maybe one hour of playtime between both. But once I got into Three Houses, I instantly fell in love with the series to the point where Fire Emblem became on of my 4 most favorite gaming franchises.

I ended up also buying a ton of Fire Emblem stuff as a result. Since then, I greatly expanded my Fire Emblem collection. I picked up all 5 3DS games that I was missing, the Awakening art book, and two amiibos. Plus I bought a bunch of stickers from various places and a poster signed by one of the voice actors and a bunch of other small things.

I didn't buy that many games over the last month and a half but I did do some Fire Emblem related stuff over the last week that I wanted to talk about for a bit. I mentioned in a previous post that I ordered a signed print from one of the Three Houses voice cast and it arrived this week and I'm really excited about it.

I also did something on Kickstarter this week too. One of the main Three Houses voice actors is doing a Kickstarter because he wants to do saxophone covers of the games soundtrack. I pledged $55 towards that I'm really excited for that too because it comes with a physical CD of the album and a signed print.

Also, since I get paid on Friday, I do plan on picking up the pace when it comes to buying more games since a few came out that I'm interested in.

I’ve been incredibly busy this week when it comes to picking up new games for the Switch. I picked up 34 new games and added another 2 games that for some reason were never added in the past (Ys 8 and RWBY). In total I added $1,055 worth of games to my collection in this update.

I was really excited for a bunch of these games. I finally had the chance to pick up Ys 9, Worlds End Club, and Cold Steel IV, which were three games I wanted because of the bonus goodies that come with them. The NIS Classic game that came with Phantom Brave and Soul Nomad also had a lot of goodies and was a pretty good price.

I was also really excited for picking up Far: Lone Sails because I could have gotten the digital game for $15 but one store was selling the very rare collector’s edition for only $55 so I had to buy that. The collector’s edition comes with the physical game, soundtrack, 56 page art book, a special cloth, reversible cover, collectors box, and a number out of 1,000 copies certificate. People have been paying more than $60 just for the physical game by itself so getting this edition was a steal.

I also picked up a couple PS4 games, which is something that I don’t do often but I wanted to pre order Horizon Forbidden West and Tales of Arise, and Avengers was only $20 so I had to act fast.

There’s three big parts to today’s blog.

The first is that I added a ton of Fire Emblem stuff to my collection. I bought the Fire Emblem Three Houses Seasons of Warfare edition from someone. It came with a really cool art book, a Steelbook, a soundtrack sample, and some other cool things. Now I have two copies of Three Houses.

I bought a copy of the Shadow Dragon 30th Anniversary Edition. Already had a copy of the game downloaded but I thought it would be cool to have all the other things that it comes with. I also bought a copy of the Echoes: Shadows of Valentia Limited Edition. I already had the game downloaded to the 3DS, but I really wanted a copy of the soundtrack and the art book.

Also found a copy of the Fire Emblem Warriors soundtrack on ebay and ordered that too and I was at a big Japanese book store and picked up a copy of the Awakening Art Book even though I already had a digital copy. Lastly, I went to Etsy and Wish and bought a bunch of of different Fire Emblem things like posters, prints, stickers, pins, magnets, and even a figure.

The second thing is that I went to Goodwill last week and found a Wii. It was an original 2006 Red Wii with all the wires and a remote for only $35 and it had Wii Sports in the console and 4 games downloaded already. Plus, I picked up a nunchuck for another $5.

But on top of all those cool things I bought, I obviously bought so many games to add to my Switch collection too. Bought 12 games and I’m still looking into getting the new Dragon Ball and Diablo game.

Over the last two weeks, I only picked up a couple of games. But I made a lot of progress in my Fire Emblem collection, and I fully paid off a bunch of Switch pre orders. Plus I also picked up the OLED Switch.

For Fire Emblem, I bought a few more amiibos, bringing my total up to 6 for Fire Emblem. I also ordered a Fire Emblem Fates art book and a Fire Emblem Awakening full soundtrack, but the book is in Japanese. I also bought a few packs of the trading card game for the first time and really liked the cards that were in there.

In total, I added 11 games between new purchases and pre orders.

I literally ran out of new games to buy and had to resort to Japan for one of these games.

Going forward, this blog will also serve as an Animal Crossing blog In addition to my usual Nintendo journey. When I transferred all my stuff over to my OLED, my island didn't transfer over so now I have to start over from scratch. So I figured it would be cool to casually post about the journey from start to finish.

So within the next week or so, I'm going to buy the new expansion and then start a new island from scratch and I'll be occasionally posting updates in addition to my usual discussions.

I did quite a bit over the last few days. I've been buying games and other accessories and getting a bunch of free stuff from various December promotions as well.

In today's episode, I wanted to briefly talk about the games that I picked up, but I also wanted to showcase parts of my Nintendo collection.

I didn’t add that many new Switch games this time around. I only added nine new Switch games, bringing my total up above 500 games.

In addition to those, I took advantage of the sale that Atlus is having on the 3DS and picked up a few games including persona Q2 and Radiant Historia.

The big thing for this episode is that I wanted to share some of the best, rarest, and most expensive items in my Nintendo collection.




This is by far the most expensive Switch game that I own. I got it for super cheap a couple months ago and the price went up around 60-80% since then with loose cartridges selling for $160 and boxed copies selling for more than $200.





This is one of the rarest 3DS consoles in existence. It's the ultra rare Black Friday Mario New 3DS and was only available for like an hour or two in 2016. a loose one sells for $200-300 while a boxed one sells for over $400.





My still sealed copy of Re Zero Collectors Edition for the Switch. Sells for $100-130. This is actually my second copy and I found a Gamestop that had the PS4 version in stock yesterday and I'm thinking of getting it.





This is one of my favorite items in the collection even though it only sells for around $40-50. It's Ni no Kuni: Dominion of the Dark Djinn for the DS. It's the first game in the series and was never released outside of Japan. Not only does it have a really cool collectors box and an original case and manual, but a 300 page hardcover art book too.





This is the collectors edition of Far: Lone Sails. The game itself only costs $15 in the eshop and dropped to $3.74 for the holidays but the collectors edition is a behemoth. The physical game in its official case sells for around $50 but the collectors edition comes with the soundtrack, art book, cloth, stamp, special cover, a certificate that says it's number to 1,000, and more stuff.



The last group of items are the four best and most expensive items in my massive Fire Emblem collection (Of over 100 items)







These first two items are from the Seasons of Warfare version of the game. There are multiple steelbooks for Three Houses but this one is the better one and sells for around $70 WITHOUT the game.

The art book is still sealed and sells for $100-150.





I don't really care too much for the contents of the anniversary edition but I really like the box and the fact that it comes with a code for the game. Sells between $70-100 for the entire box. People have spent $20-30 on just the code and I expect it would go up in the future because as more people redeem them, the fewer there will be.





This is the only real art book for Fire Emblem Fates but it's all in Japanese but still looks cool and sells for around $70-90.

I added a bunch more games to the repertoire over the last couple weeks. There were some big trade deals and discounts going on at Gamestop plus the overall winter sale in the eshop so I was able to get a ton of stuff for really cheap. I ended up paying under $100 in total for these 22 games.

I also took advantage of the Gamestop sale and bought a pre owned copy of Pokemon Omega Ruby for only $25 and it came with its original box and everything.

It’s been a really long time since I’ve done one of these because I’ve been putting a lot of effort into anime and there just haven’t been that many new games coming out over the last 6 months.

In total added another 19 games and had to make a few changes to the list. Total value of the collection crossed $15,000 with this update.

Things were able to pick up a bit lately with picking up new games thanks to all the new sales that have been going on lately. The big thing that I picked up this week was that I grabbed another copy of the Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon 30th Anniversary Collectors Edition box. I now have three copies of the game and two copies of the Collectors Edition. I also picked up an imported copy of Clannad which is cool. In total I picked up 10 new games this time around.
